Disappointed after waiting 25 minutes for 1 pannini Reuben, only to have the corned beef cold, cheese not melted and bread very dry and not crunchy.

Stopped in and asked if they did a breakfast sandwich. The owner said "no but I can make you one". And sir I'm telling you it's time to add that to the menu as that was the best damn breakfast sandwich I've ever had! I only have two regrets. One that I didn't order three sandwiches instead of two. And 2that I don't live locally so I can make this a regular stop. Will definitely make an excuse to come back to this place again as I can only imagine that the sandwiches that are on menu have to be as good/better than sandwiches off menu.

My daughter and I wanted to try this restaurant that opened two months ago - we had the opportunity yesterday. We both have been in the restaurant/bar business in the past and we genuinely want to have a successful restaurant in the Pioneer area. Our meal was okay - but there are a lot of things we didn't like or understand. Welcome: The overall design is anything but warm and welcoming. It's cold as ice, and it was a stormy day which compounded the lack of ambiance. Signage: When you walk into the double door lobby you don't know which way to go - to the right, to the left, or straight ahead? (Bring the hostess station up closer to the doors.) With the big windows in the restaurant it's nearly impossible to see the faces of the people who are addressing you - no one was at the hostess station, no one was wearing a name tag (or 'uniform') but several workers were milling about so we didn't even know which person to ask. Service: Our Server was very nice. But she didn't actually serve the food. Neither of us noticed there was a side 2 to the menu - Server should have told us. She had to bring my salad dressing separately from the plate - and spilled some of it on our table and on my tableware - but didn't notice. I had to ask for an additional napkin to wipe it up. A worker from the kitchen served us - in street clothes. He didn't announce himself - only asked "Who had the Fish & Chips?" The Server would have known. Was he just fixing the plumbing and noticed two plates to be taken to the table, or what? The Server needs to have a way to know when plates are ready in the kitchen - a pocket buzzer or some light device would help. They were planning for a big group of people doing a "paint & dine" experience . . . but boy were those people crammed together close?! Covid is still a very active thing! A personal peeve - when you have Fish & Chips on the menu, please don't serve Fish & French Fries. There's a difference! I had the Tri-Tip Dip, with a salad, which was delicious. Also, when you put condiments into little aluminum cups, get all of it into the cup - don't scrape the bottom of the bottle and wipe it off into the cup with a knife. Little details make ALL of the difference - you have to care how things look. The chairs are comfortable (important if you want your customers to relax and stay a while), but the tables are just awful. My suggestion is a table cloth if you can get laundry services up in Pioneer - if not, some type of placemat for each table setting will help. The view from the dining room is outstanding!!! Our meal and one glass of wine cost $50 . . . I'd say a good $10 more than it should have. But we want you here - and we will be back to see how you're doing. Maybe you could have started with a smaller menu, and gradually added the rest.

This is not your typical sandwich place. Zach at That One Spot is a culinary genius that preps, bakes, roasts, and smokes everything himself, no grocery store deli meat here. Every ingredient is thoughtfully included and perfectly blended to create some of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. I was a sandwich skeptic until I came here, now I’m a loyal convert. This is a must try if you’re traveling through or a local, a true hidden gem.

Vegetarian options: They have a few sandwiches and salads on the menu that are vegetarian.

Took my daughter for the first time and bought her dad one to take with us. She had hers and decided she would write a note to her dad. Enjoy the smokehouse guys! It’s the best sandwich ever.

The owner was super friendly! He runs this business by himself and makes sure to engage with every customer. The food was delicious and he was very helpful with my daughter in figuring out what she wanted. I’m not a local and was giving the keys to my clients new home in the area when my 8 year old decided she was “starving”! Food was full of flavor!!!! And kid approved! They even offer Gluten Free wrap!

Vegetarian options: Has salads and other vegetarian sandwich options

Kid-friendliness: Has a kid friendly menu.

Dietary restrictions: Offers Gluten Free wraps!

These sandwiches are phenomenal! We got the club sandwich and the squatch, both were fantastic. The club was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had and would absolutely get again.
