Came here as a first timer. Fish tacos was delicious made with no batter but grilled fish with its topics. Got the clam chowder, delicious! Husband loved his fish sandwich with fries. Definitely recommend this location

i am really glad i got to experience this place. the rumors are true, the clam chowder is to die for. amazing service and amazing food, the workers were very helpful even though i went on a busy day. 10/10 restaurant

Ada's Fish House provides its guests the best in everything! Fun vibrant atmosphere yet private setting. The immensely pleasant staff are perfectly attuned to welcoming and enticing diners with tasty entrees and tempting daily specials. An absolute must is their award-winning unbelievable Clam Chowder ... it is very delicious and note worthy, well worth it. We were seated within the reservation and promptly served with waters, warm bread and butter. The wait staff described the daily specials and we chose the Surf & Turf and Halibut, and Margaritas, which were fabulous so perfectly prepared, a privilege to enjoy the time and tastes with friends. Ada's has made us new fans! We'll be back !

Everything was excellent. The four of us enjoyed the lobster roll, clam chowder, fish and chips and shrimp with potatoes au gratin and vegetables. The bread was also great served warm! Our server Elle was wonderful. Very welcoming and patient. We had a terrific Valentine's Day lunch.

The staff at Ada's was very friendly and accommodating. They were able to make adjustments to dishes if requested. Ada's clam chowder was different from other places I have ordered clam chowder (comparing with Ivars and Moe's); added fresh chives, gave the broth more flavor than usual. The potatoes in the chowder were the right consistency. Creamy soup without seeming like gravy nor thin. The portion was about 1.75 cups. Ample side sourdough bread. The crust was soft and not dried out. The staff was accommodating, providing peppermint tea and plenty of hot water in a teapot, which I found charming. Parking is an issue, but welcome to costal CA. Everyone has consisdered the limits of possible parking and made diagrams in compensation. The indoor dining room tables are fairly close proximity, so be prepared to possibly know the topic of your neighbor's conversation.

Ada’s has really good food in a nice setting! We sat outside and enjoyed the well heated patio with great ambiance. The sand dabs were nicely cooked in butter and capers. Nice portion! We also had steamed clams in yummy broth. There sourdough bread rolls are good and paired wonderfully with the clam chowder! Read pudding was delicious and huge enough for 2 people. It was another excellent experience for us at Ada's Fish House. Our waitress, Rhonda, provided excellent service. Our meals were delicious, as always. This time we had the scallops, the shrimp, and the brussels sprouts appetizer. Ada's is always consistent with food and service which is why we continue to return. We highly recommend.
Lillian provided excellent service! Only minor negative was the scallops were swimming in the sauce...personal preference, didn't need as much. Everything else was great.

Food is exceptional! The place was full, always is, and wait times can be long. The fresh backed sourdough rolls are fabulous. Loved the clam chowder, lots of chunks of meat ! San dabs are my favorite.

Liz the server was exceptional. The room was cool, so we told her about it and she said she talked to the manager and they raised the temperature. Not the most comfortable room, like I said above, kind of cold and drafty. In hindsight the outside looked more comfortable, with heaters at every table. The food was very good, I asked if the vegetables could be cooked a little more, so they wouldn't be hard and crispy, and they came out softer than I usually get at restaurants. Had a birthday at our table and they did a great job at celebrating it with us, free ice cream sundae for the birthday person.

Ended up on a small high table in the bar despite making a reservation ( didn't want to be in their patio on a cold night). Excellent service, generous portions, well prepared food, delicious. The key lime cheese cake capped a great dinner.
