Been here a few times now and the staff is always friendly. Always end up trying something new every time we come through. Nothing that I dislike or don’t enjoy. They always know their way around a smoker. Glad they’ve stuck around all this time. Need something different other than MOs.

Quality is exceptional. Good prices, great value. Love this place. They don't try to hide anything under too much sauce; they know how to cook and season quality meat perfectly. Nothing is overdone. One of the best places to eat in Pismo, and as they say, best prices on quality beer as well. The kind of business and people that I like giving my money to.

Some of the best BBQ we've had in California. We travel out of our way to make a stop here when driving north or south. The brisket has a fantastic rub, tender, not too fatty. Turkey is so moist!! Pulled pork is super flavorful. And they LOAD the sandwiches! Always leave there with a full, happy belly. Highly recommend!

If you want the meat, this is where you have to eat!! Ribs and brisket and pulled pork and more!!! Their meats are smoked to perfection. Their brisket is my personal favorite, juicy and smoky and absolutely delicious. Put the meat on a bun or a taco for a hand held version.Their home made condiments from dressing to salsas and, of course, their sauces, all provide an exquisite flavor combination that makes your taste buds dance!Don't pass on the sides, perfectly cooked and seasoned french fries, hearty mac and cheese smokey sweet corn and all the others certainly complete the meal to fill the belly.The atmosphere is chill, sit at the street side bar and watch the passersby, enjoy a few beers and the game on one of their flat screen TVs or take it to go and enjoy it at the beach or your hotel. The crew are all super nice and on it. The Manager, Jay, is really down to earth and knowledgeable about his BBQ, really nice guy.My Wife opts for the salad version of the plate meal when she doesn't want any bread or extras. My 2 Daughters gobble up their mac and cheese and tacos and I have a hard time not ordering each kind of meat every time!Highly recommend this place, great people and great grub!

Had lunch here with my husband. Staff was friendly and ribs were amazing. Great dry rub and bbq sauce. Had fries "dusted" and they needed to be cooked a bit more. Husband had brisket sandwich, potato salad and cole slaw. All of his was very good. We are both bbq enthusiasts and tend to be picky and it def passed the test! We will be back and recommend to others looking for great food and cheap draft beer! Check it out!!!

Great Texas BBQ in CA. The meat was smoked and delicious. The brisket was very tender. The spicy sauce was so good and flavorful. I wish I could take a bottle of that BBQ sauce home.

We decided to try this place for lunch, after looking at reviews and photos. Great location, nice atmosphere, and the meat was well prepared. Tried the jalapeño cornbread, mac & cheese, potato salad, brisket, ribs, and hot link. Everything tasted decent, and was cooked well, I just didn’t care for the seasonings on any of the items we had, or the BBQ sauce. Everything he said heavy on the smoke paprika, and I think I might’ve tested some cumin as well. I’m not sure if I’m right, but it all had a dark, smoky flavor to everything that I wasn’t a fan of. Including the mac & cheese, which is a little bit of spice to it. They know how to cook, I just wasn’t compatible with the seasonings.

Just happened upon this place and went in for a sandwich to take out, but when I smelled the wonderful aroma inside and saw the ribs, I had to make a larger order. I ordered the ribs and brisket, with the beans and potato salad. All were very tasty and I would recommend this restaurant. I'll definitely be making repeat trips here. The guys behind the counter were very helpful and courteous.

Don’t just walk by this place. Walk in sit down and enjoy the food and atmosphere. Cold cheap 805 on draft the pulled pork was amazing and that potato salad and coleslaw are on point if your a fan!

DELICIOUS! I got the pulled pork and it was super tender and juicy. My husband got the ribs and brisket, both were cooked just right. The beans I got were a little too spicy, but the potatoe salad was some of the best I've ever had. Would definitely recommend!!
