I saw the Crack Shack road sign on the 101 and decided to stop in. I’m so glad we did. My family had a fabulous lunch, not to mention the best cioppino I’ve had since my childhood living in San Francisco. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious seafood.

Awesome experience, get the Big Bucket dumped on the table and enjoy! We got there a bit after 7pm day before Thanksgiving and got the last open table. Had a feeling there was a significant line around 6pm.

Cracked Crab is one of our favorite places to go to. It’s locally owned and ran. We love the small place feel and the sea food is fresh and delicious. So much so my husband who is not a seafood person is now a big fan of the seafood bucket! We highly recommend trying this place out. Our menu favorites are the bucket, the clam chowder and their fish tacos. We haven’t had the chance to try other things on their menu but I am sure they won’t disappoint!

Everything about this place is amazing. Our waitress was phenomenal, the food was heaven. We loved that the owner even came by to check on Everything. I highly suggest that you don't miss out on this memorable spot when in Pismo.
This place was fantastic! Great service, very clean, and top notch food. We visit pismo often but have never tried the Cracked Crab. Safe to say we will be back every time we visit! Brandy was our server, she was very gracious and polite. She made our experience very comfortable, especially with a us having a young child, it can be rare to feel welcomed. I got the King crab dinner, 10/10, crab was cooked perfectly and it was the perfect serving for the price. My husband got the shrimp pasta and he said it was also a great choice. If you are in Pismo skip Ada’s and spend the extra buck at Cracked Crab!

Not good. Service was extremely slow. Was there for nearly an hour and a half. Took 17 minutes just to be greeted at our table. Another 7 minutes to get a water and coke. Gumbo and bisque were watery. Fish, shrimp and chips were unseasoned. Never got refills. A table next to us took over 15 minutes to be cleaned while being covered in half eaten crab. The check was never brought to us. My husband had to go up to the bar to check out himself while other tables had theirs brought to them.
