A fun and relaxing afternoon with the girls... relax, chill, dip, sip.... The best place in town for a lazy afternoon in the rooftop! My 3rd time there!
It was ok... Was expecting more I guess. Staff opened the doors a few minutes before they opened and we were scolded. Not cool. Menu is limited. What they show online is accurate. Food bland and service ok, not stellar. We were the only ones for most of the time. The view is great though... Of the pier area.
Great location, food and server. My only criticism is the slow food delivery from the kitchen.
My partner and I decided to come here for a celebration since we love good views & good food. We made a reservation and were seated right away, which was a smooth start. However, once we sat down, we noticed a strong scent of the beach mixed with another odor, and our table had bird droppings on it; a small detail, but hard to dismiss. We politely asked to move to a different table, hoping to sit somewhere farther from where seagulls might target. We ended up seated more toward the middle, away from the edge/nice view tables, but once again, the table hadn't been cleaned. It took a few minutes for staff to wipe it down before we could settle in. We decided to move past it and focus on the food. The Butter Bread was excellent (10/10), rich, soft, & flavorful. The Steak Fries were tasty, though I asked for medium & it came out fully well-done (6/10). The Fried Chicken Sandwich was also solid (8/10), crispy and flavorful without being too heavy. Overall, the kitchen delivered on taste, which we appreciated. What fell short, unfortunately, was the overall atmosphere. We originally came for the view that's advertised so well online, but after moving tables, we lost that highlight. Instead of relaxing and enjoying a celebratory meal, we were left feeling uneasy, with the ongoing concern that seagulls could swoop or leave droppings nearby at any moment. The online marketing makes this place seem like a perfect spot for special occasions, but in practice, the proximity to the pier & the rooftop setup make it feel less polished than expected. While the food was enjoyable, the setting didn't match the celebratory experience we hoped for. With better upkeep of tables & perhaps some adjustments to address the bird issue, this could become the destination it's advertised to be.
Food was good. Atmosphere was fine too.
Why 1 star? We ordered drinks and also ordered a starter and a main course. It was a natural expectation to get starters with our drinks.
They took 40 mins to get our food. How can you just have drinks without any food? Ridiculous waiting time. We confronted our host and asked him - couldn’t he give us something complementary Atleast while we were left hungry with just two alcohol beverages? Atleast a bread or freakin nachos or something to compensate for the wait time?
He said no they dont have that in their policy. Absolutely shameful. Never returning back here.
I am showing a picture here how we were treated with absolute warm and fresh sour dough bread at an another italian place (simple etiquettes and hospitality this cyprus restraunt should learn)
. Take a NOTE!!!

Restaurant refused to honor reservation made through OpenTable. Did not get to actually eat since we were turned away.
Disappointed, staff didn't communicate how to place an order or that you need to obtain your own menus. When asked if we placed a reservation for the available times if we would get service, we were told no you will sit exactly were you are with no service.
Waited 45 mins to get a table. Had a table with no view, my waiter went on break and did not show up for 30 mins. Food was ok.
This stop was a very pleasant surprise. The rooftop venue made for the perfect spot for a lunch break while driving between SoCal and NorCal; the views were stunning, the weather was glorious (bring a light jacket), the service was pretty punctual, and the food was nice and fresh. Pismo Beach Pier is just a few steps away from the hotel. Beware the seagull stalkers though. ;) Will probably stop here again on our next drive.
Great dinner spot would 100% recommend, the crab cakes are bomb!!! The vibe and music 10/10. Staff very nice.

We visited for dinner on a Tuesday and was told that all beach view tables were reserved. It was early and still empty but as someone in the service industry I understand. We went to an open seating table instead. Our server was not really paying attention to us. She didnt check on us much and once we were close to finished with our entrees she brought us the bill, which I took even though we had planned on ordering more. In the meantime, another couple had walked in and got the same spiel we had about no beach view tables but when I woman said she really wanted one the hostess accommodated her and moved tables around to get them a table with a view. So we cashed out our bill and left. I will say the tuna appetizer was very tasty but regardless I won't be back or recommend the restaurant despite the hotel itself being wonderful.

Although very pleasant, the service was slow and the food was just okay. Seafood dishes, being at Pismo Beach, we're expected to be exceptional but just turned out to be okay. Halibut was slightly overcooked, and clam chowder was disappointing.
Our server was fantastic! We got in at the tail end of Happy Hour and enjoyed our smash burgers and truffle fries. No kidding, the mixed Berry shortcake....YUMMY.
Crowd management is a 0. Being a guest at the inn, I was emailed 24 hours before that please check in and eat at our restaurant. Then when I checked in, the front desk was like go and eat before 10 pm. I call the restaurant from my room and they tell July 4 is ticketed. I tell ok fair call. Then I call front desk and ask for in room dining, they tell sure till 9 pm. I got transferred and they say we are short on waiters and don't do in room dining today and you need to come to restaurant and order to go. I told fair enough and go there. I stand there 20 mins and ask 3 waiters, front desk and no one takes my order.
This is unacceptable. I don't at all blame the staff on ground but the management who took the decision that July 4 is a good excuse to de prioritize paying hotel guests.

We had a horrible experience here, but upon request, they did comp the whole meal. The food was quite good once it arrived, but the service was beyond awful.
