This is a fun place to visit if you are looking for something of a novelty. We like the cinnamon sugar-free suckers. They are fantastic, but they only had one flavor for sugar-free. It would be nice if more variety were offered. They do have many flavors for those okay with the sugar. They also have insects (no joke, and not for me, lol) available in some candies, but they have many options insect-free. The cashier was very polite and helpful. He carried on a nice conversation with us while ringing up our selections. I would recommend checking out this shop if you visit Pismo, CA.

Candy was bomb. I got the chocolate covered cherries and some chocolate covered almonds really enjoyed and I also got some taffy. Very delicious only thing was customer service kind of sucks.

Wonderful selection of almost any candy you can think of. I love their cinnamon suckers (they have lots of different flavors, including many sugar free). Their Chocolate Rocky Road is super delicious. Excellent quality chocolate with big pieces of marshmallow and nuts. Lots of old-school candies you'll remember from your childhood. Treat yourself to a lollipop with a scorpion inside. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend Hotlix candy shop!

I easily succumb to touristy candy shops so I instantly wanted to go in here. Ended up buying a bunch of chocolate and it came out to maybe 1/2 the price I was expecting. The staff were nice and I'm eating the chocolate right now. It is excellent and I will go back if I'm ever in Pismo again
I recommend the dark chocolate haystacks or the dark chocolate peanut butter cups!

Don’t bother buying taffy at the nearby candy establishments. Hot Licks not only has the best selection, but their prices are similar if not less than competitors in the area. I was pleasantly surprised to see how affordable the various candies were. Needless to say, we walked out with taffy, rock candy, chocolate covered insects and more. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.
