Sadly don't take Apple Pay, but still giving them 5 stars for their awesome staff and service. They were very, very kind to my little girl.

My wife and I enjoy Pismo Beach and all its shops. We happened into Hotlix and were surprised at the wide variety of different kinds of candy and sweet treats. The prices were what you would expect from a tourist location. We checked out what they had that we could buy for some friends back home and decided on the milk chocolate covered pretzels with sprinkles. We weren't leaving for a few days, so we decided to come back and get them right before we left on our drive home to Orange County. The 4-stars is for the great selection of differently kinds of sweet treats. The lack of the 5th-star is because of the not very friendly staff. This is only referring to the young females working there. On the first day we were there, we spoke to an older woman, (possibly the owner or manager) and she was very friendly. She told us about how the stock is rotated and how items are made in-house. She was busy stocking shelves, but she still took the time to talk to us. We appreciated that. Unfortunately, the young females all seemed like they were not happy to be there and were merely going through the motions.

Lots of great treats here. Salt water taffy is amazing. We also got chocolate covered pretzels and tiny dipped cones with marshmallows inside. Great little store to try if you're in Pismo Beach. Even a sugar free chocolate selection. Service was great the store is clean and very easy to find everything. Highly recommend

Great variety of candy. Got the praline fudge and rocky road. Both were very good. Will go back when in Pismo Beach.

Pretty standard small town candy store. Pretty decent selection, employees are decent to talk to, and there's not much bad to say.

I took a chance that I might find one or two sugar-free items on this shop’s shelves. I found a lot more than that! They have quite a selection for those of us who stay away from sugar. And every one of them is high quality and very tasty. I don’t get to Pismo Beach very often, but I will make a trip to the store every time I do.

Use to come here for the chocolate covered gummy bears.... unfortunately they stopped making them so we tried the chocolate covered honeycombs and they are surprisingly delicious they have sooo many different textures. They are definitely a new favorite!

Oh man the best fudge and the marshmallow and chocolate candy is so good we get those two every time we go. Except this last time we went they were all out of the fudge and didn't get back down there the next couple of days so we didn't get to bring any home this time

This place was ran by what seems to be entitled rich kids who have so sense of customer service. The boy working the cash register was rude and had a horrible attitude. I’m not sure if they treat all customers like this or if they discriminate, but I would surely hope not. The kids seemed less than thrilled to be working, I would strongly suggest the owner to hire new people, the attitudes were very off putting. I will definitely never return to this store. Also for owner’s convenience my visit was Sunday 8/27/23 around 3-6pm ( so you can address the kids working that shift)

Smoothie was super sweet like it was just ice and syrup with barely any fruit, more like a milkshake. Also the honey sticks taste like cough syrup
