Marisol at The Cliffs

Wonderful find on the central coast! This was our first visit to Marisol. It was wonderful! Our servers Lance for our cocktails at 3 and Jose for our dinner. Both were attentive and friendly. Lance discovered it was our anniversaries and brought us sparkling wine and then a strawberry shortcake after we were finished, all compliments of the restaurant. We were thrilled! Very unexpected but greatly appreciated. Our dinner was delicious! It was served hot and quickly. We were very happy with our choice for our anniversary dinners with our friends. We will definitely be back! The food, drinks and patio by the ocean can't be beat. The fog lifted and we were even treated to a beautiful sunset.

This is our first time here for lunch but we have been here for dinner several times and lunch, just like dinner, didn't disappoint! Great service, delicious food and such a beautiful view of the ocean! One of our favorite places to dine while on vacation!

Wow! The food was incredibly delicious, our Server Jason was friendly and helpful with suggestions, and we enjoyed the beautiful ocean view! We went for my birthday, and they gave me a special memorable experience. We will definitely go back again!

Absolutely beautiful! Celebrating our Anniversary and everything I entered on the Open Table reservation was executed to perfection. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and perfectly attentive towards our dining experience. The noise level was just the ocean waves and kept the background noise away.

View was outstanding, service from the hostess to server was excellent. Food was good and came out quick. Overall great dinner and experience.

Locals back to Marisol for our 2nd wedding anniversary. Started w/ cocktails and split apps: clam chowder and calamari - both excellent! Dinner was the filet, the'll sub the sides, just ask. Was excellent. Highly recommend to sit outside, the view is incredible!

Just a delightful dining experience! From the welcome when we walked in, until the time we left, we had an amazing time! We had the chicken and the hamburger. Both entrees were wonderful. To start we shared the lettuce wedge and had the kitchen split it for us before they brought it out. Simply delish! Make sure you have AJ as your server, he was wonderful! We're looking forward to coming back soon and I can't wait!

The service was great and the staff were very helpful and delightful to work with. Good selections on the menu; the best part was the fact our person was willing to make sure no strawberries were incorporated with my salad. She checked with the chef a couple of times. Great experience. Beautiful view of the ocean, too. That was a plus!!!!

eggs Benedict and carnitas tacos were ok have had tastier. Found it odd that I couldn't get cilantro without onion. Dined on patio. Steven server friendly but busy

There were no heaters available for us to dine outside, considering we booked this for the cliff views was a very poor start. We were seated indoors with screaming kids & zero ambience. We ordered the cap sirloin steaks. The sauce they were covered in was revolting. We complained but nothing done. At a cost of USD176 this was the worst meal we have experienced on our California trip.

The food is always very good. I ordered the best clam chowder I ever had....lots of clams. My wife order the osso buco entree and liked it EXCEPT the underlying spinach was bland, uncooked, & unseasoned. I ordered the tomahawk Kurobota port chop. It was excellent as well as the creamy mashed potatoes and cheesy string beans. The views are spectacular, BUT, this time was the first time we ever had POOR service. She took forever! Our previous 7 dinners there had excellent service. The menu could use another fresh fish entree. I would suggest that Marisol's chef also offer an entree of their Lamb lollipops appetizer. Their ice cream choice is very limited to only vanilla and it's a small serving.

Great wait staff. There for a birthday celebration with daughter, grandaughter and friend. Always love this setting. Thank you.

Marisol, the ambience was nice. The food was really good. And the clam chowder soup was amazing. The service was really good, make sure to ask about the specials. The Bernaise sauce with crab over the steak was great and the pistachio pesto crusted halibut was amazing. You couldn't get a better location. they even had blankets and heaters to sit outside. That little extra touch just made it.

Best eggs Benedict, amazing service, opened umbrella and turned on heater with zero attitude, vanilla latte w/homemade cookie was to die for and their chicken lettuce wraps were delicious but spicy so be prepared.

Beautiful ocean view at sunset, tasty seabass, complimentary dessert for our anniversary; could have been a romantic evening...was marred by a screaming toddler in a large group near us which continued the entire evening. Though it's not the restaurant's fault, possibly they could have asked the parent to walk around with the child for a bit so diners could hear each other talk. Our server was terrific!
