What an amazing find! From the moment we walked in, my husband and I really enjoyed our dining experience at the Oyster Loft. The ambiance is elevated, which you can tell by the top notch service and beautifully presented dishes. But everyone is so friendly and laidback, so it doesn’t feel pretentious or unapproachable. We were seated at a table next to the tropical fish tank. The front room felt livelier than the back, so if you want a quieter table, request one away from the bar area. The noise level was fine near the bar, though, and we were able to carry on a conversation without issue. Our server (and the entire wait staff) was so nice and helpful. The food was incredible — every single dish we ordered was flavorful and so delicious, we wanted more. We started with a dozen of the local Morro Bay oysters, which were a perfect balance of briny and sweet. Not to mention, they were perfectly shucked. We also had the scallop carpaccio and roasted bone marrow — can’t say enough good things about those dishes. For our mains we had the local sablefish in a butter dashi broth. That was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Highly recommend everything we ate, and we’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in Pismo Beach!

The service is good but the food was not what we expected. My husband ordered a cut of meat, he ordered it at a time and they didn't bring it as he requested. I was eager to eat the oysters but it was not what I expected and still two bad ones came out. For what they charged, the truth is it's not worth going again. It doesn't matter that the dish is expensive but it is worth it. What a shame, the truth is I felt disappointed.

Great seafood place in Pismo Beach! Highly recommend if you are in the area! Good spot near the beach - walking distance. A lot of street parking (Pay by the hour). Good food variety! Wine by glass is very limited selection. Smoked Old fashion drink was tasty! Service is okay.
The food was great, but they seem to be out of several things. My waiter was not very good. Not only did he take a long time to get answers, but he gave wrong information also. By the time the bread that was ordered was delivered the meal was way past finished. He seemed upset to even help. I liked the view, and the hostess was very nice. And the food itself was great that I ended up getting.
