Very poorly managed . Upon arrival I had a reservation they had no clue I had a reservation and gave away the last table I ended up sitting in the bar area and the heater was broken took probably 15 minutes before anybody even acknowledged they were there the poor waitress did her best but she was definitely struggling with a bad managed restaurant

This place is excellent! Great food and amazing atmosphere. Perfect date location. This is a seaside restaurant with a great view of the Pismo Pier and beach. So if you time it right, you can have an excellent dinner with an amazing view of the sunset. Romantics eat your heart out. I'm quite partial to their steak and cocktails. It's a rooftop restaurant you're not going to go wrong. The staff is attentive and good. Natured.Parking: It's right next to the paid parking lot by the Pismo Pier.

Delicious drinks, price is not bad for a beachfront rooftop bar. We came on a december Saturday night and there were plenty of seats. Deff been here during day when it's a lot busier. Still 100% recommend a great spot that you won't regret going

Service was terrible (except Anthony was good). Food was way overpriced and they cut major corners on the food. The staff acted like we were lucky that [they] were there. Would never go back here and wouldn't send my worst enemy

The Cypress House view is fantastic, the service staff try their best, the food is delicious, BUT DO NOT order wine from this place. Apparently the management has decided profit trumps taste and it shows. We tried 3 different wines, red rose & white - all absolutely horrible. We're in Central Coast near some of the best wineries in the Country. Can't you select high quality wines and offer them at reasonable prices? Make your profit elsewhere!!!!

This was our first time since they rebranded but second time overall. All I can say that the furniture is the only thing that has changed. The way they came to take our specialty drink orders before he ever brought the menu. But once he brought the menu, he disappeared and it was another 20 minutes before he came back to take the drink orders probably another 10 to 15 minutes before they came to take our appetizer orders. We ordered our meal at the same time as appetizer, the fire pit still was not working, someone went to get a lighter and never came back. We went to find another person who finally turned it on. They brought one of us. The wrong drink Just like the previous time they did not bring all the food, one order was never made. They realized it and offered to comp after we were almost done with the meal. Food was very good, fresh and tasty, presentation was great. watching sunset, and the views of the pier was absolutely worth all the trouble that I described above. Furniture is comfortable and the overall layout and little areas to sit and enjoy good company are great. They need better staff. Most definitely training for their servers. They are super friendly and seem to want to do well but maybe undertrained. The location cannot be beat, the quality of food is great, the atmosphere is fantastic. This could easily be the best place in town, if they train their staff to work fast and be accountable for the work they do.

The unique setting, a rooftop-restaurant looking out to the Pacific Ocean at sunset is worthy. The food was adequate, the wine selection mediocre, but the SERVER at our table was the drawback on our dinner. We'll come back and hope to have a different server.

The server who wore a 49ers jersey was not attentive to the table and totally forgot our drinks. The drinks were 15$ each and had barely any liquor in it. I truly felt like spending 40$ on two cocktails and some bread was a rip off. Understandably they upped their ambiance and the location is on a rooftop in pismo beach, the service needs to be up there as well. The two blonde servers need a retraining, or to be replaced all together.

Our server seemed to disappear for what felt like forever. It was unbelievably difficult to locate him & get service when we needed it. Food was not impressive, which was disappointing as 5 Cities desperately needs some quality restaurants.

The ambiance is wonderful. The decor is bright and cheerful but also kinda boochie. Dude paying guitar was lovely. Our server left somethings desired, just a little gruff and blah. Prices are reasonable and the champagne was good. Food was okay. Def recommend if you're looking to drink and be social:-)

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service at Cypress! Went in with realistic expectations, as the restaurant is located on the small rooftop patio of the Hilton Inn at the Pier. And while the atmosphere was pretty much as expected, the food was stellar and the service friendly and attentive. Everything we ordered was delicious and we cleaned our plates.

Made reservations through open table several days in advance for 7:15pm for a fire pit table. It was our last night in Pismo of a week long vacation and we wanted to celebrate our time there with a nice meal and watch the sunset. When we arrived we were told there was no host that night so things were not organized and the best they could do was give us a table way back near the entrance. It was a disappointing evening.
