We had a fantastic tasting with Alana this Saturday afternoon and she was the perfect host. Her knowledge of varietals and where grapes are sourced from is admirable. Picked up a bottle of The Adversary and the Late Harvest Grenache Blanc. We'll be recommending San Liege to friends.
Can't give this place enough stars. Could be because it was our third stop of the day, but, the Transcendentalist was a recommendation of a wine educator from another winery. This wine did not disappoint and the PickPocket, opened 2 days later, did not disappoint. Highly recommend. will be our first stop on the next wine escapade.
I visited on a Monday and had a very nice afternoon tasting. This winery specializes in French Southern Rhone-style wines (Reds: Syrah, Mourvedre, Grenache; Whites: Voignier, Marsanne/Rousanne, Clarirette, Grenache Blanc). The wines are well made, and presented in a non-pretentious, friendly environment, without much sales pressure.
