Beachfront restaurant on the floor of a hotel in Pismo Beach
We ate very well, everything was very good and we were happy to eat something other than burgers during our stay

Not sure where to start. The bread and honey butter was absolute perfection with the perfect balance of salty and sweet. We all ordered drinks and my spicy margarita was phenomenally spicy! I had the bacon wrapped filet and it far and away best the steak I've had in a while. Finally, we finished with the cheesecake and what an end to a perfect meal. Throw in the beautiful view, a dinner without my kids, and exceptional service provided by Jordan and this was definitely a meal to be remembered. We'll be back, and if you're reading this review, you should check it out, too!

Great hotel and great food

We have been coming here for our anniversary and this was the worst experience. The service was subpar, our waitress came by when we were seated said she would bring water and bread. Two other table were seated, finally asked another server for water he brought it. After about 20 minutes I asked our server for bread she said she would bring it. Never did. After our food came she realized she never brought it and jokingly asked if we still wanted it. The food was over cooked and had no flavor. We won't be back.

We've eaten at The Sea Venture several times and it's always very good and we get a beautiful view of the ocean. The menu continues to change so there's always something new to try. The service has always been excellent and we love the covered parking available. We'll definitely be back.

We only stopped by to look at the accommodations. This restaurant looked amazing and I can't wait to give it a try at another time.

I recently ate dinner here during the sunset and my wife and I enjoyed every minute of it. We had shared the shrimp cocktail and each had a the pork chop dinner. The food was great but the service was less so. Our server took a very long time to greet us and take our drink order. If it weren’t for the nice atmosphere I might have been upset. After our appetizer I had to remind the server about the main course we were waiting very long for. When it came it was cooked perfectly.

Overall impression of needing remodeling. Unclean feeling. Enter through garage, hotel then elevator. Think very close to ocean but absolutely no night view and no ocean ambience. Had two appetizers but beef tips overcooked. Would not return.

This was our first time. The atmosphere is very nice. A classy restaurant with a nice vibe. The ocean views are fantastic. Our server was excellent, friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. The menu selection was very good with something for everyone. The food was perfectly prepared. My wife and I split a steak from one of the specials. It came with perfectly prepared green beans and a loaded baked potatoe. We also split a salad. Everything was prepared perfectly. The prices were very reasonable for the high quality of the food and the upscale atmosphere. We consider our experience to be one of the best restaurants in the area.

It was our 55th anniversary and we chose Sea Venture for dinner. My wife's salmon was the best she's ever had. My two appetizers (oysters Rockefeller & lettuce wraps) were excellent. Or waiter, James, was excellent and we appreciated that he is “Cheese Head” by birth. Excellent experience and we will be back next year expecting the same service and food. Dr. DeMark

My wife and I had the calamari appetizer and the surf and turf for two. Generous portion of calamari with fried jalapeños was very tasty and not too spicy without too much batter. The surf and turf was very good. The filet mignon medium-rare was cooked to perfection with a tasty red wine reduction. The lobster tail was great. We were given a complimentary creme brulee for our anniversary topped with fresh strawberry and blueberries - very creamy and delicious way to end the meal. Would definitely eat here again!

This place was amazing for us. Great food, attentive service, calm atmosphere with a beautiful view of the ocean while drinking some delicious mimosas. Loved this place and will be back
