Refrozen ice cream, poor workers, poor environment, and the over cream was half melted

My wife and I have been to Pismo Beach three times in the past four years. We have gotten ice cream / sorbet at Scoops several times and a few things are consistent. The Maui Wowie is very good. The servings are a decent size and the ice cream / sorbet is hard and firm. There is always free parking in the lot too. Prices are consistent for a tourist town. The male server, (I think he is the owner) is friendly and personable. My wife was interested in the Moose Tracks flavor and he gave her a small spoonful with a sample. My wife liked it and later bought a cup of that flavor. The female server (Asian) is less friendly and less personable. I don't know if it was the same Asian lady in prior years, but the only friendly server there is the male. I'm not saying the Asian lady is rude, but perhaps her English is not very good and she is not comfortable talking to customers. We will be back in the future because of the Maui Wowie and other choices of ice creams / sorbets. It would be an easy 5-stars if the female server was as friendly as the male.

This is one of the best places to get ice cream in Pismo. The owners are very nice and they even have a smoothie station now. The service is great and the ice cream parkour is clean. Growing up this was a fun place to go to. I think the ambiance is colorful and clean.

Excellent Ice Cream! Fabulous flavor selections! Great variety of cones! Huge Size Scoops! Very Personable Lady behind the counter making the cones and very helpful Too! The service was also quick even with a large crowd of patrons. I highly recommend everyone stop for a cone!

My family and I were visiting Pismo and decided to have an ice cream cone.Found Scoop, went in, the people were friendly and there were a lot of choices. They had several Dreyers ice cream flavors to choose from. I selected Rocky Road, one of my favorites. I was so disappointed, this was NOT Dreyers ice cream. It tasted like old ice milk. How can you advertise Dreyers ice cream and serve some low cost ice milk!!! Don't waste your money.
Decent selection. Oddly enough it was really hot inside the establishment... Felt weird to be hot inside an ice cream shop. Staff was a bit short (slightly rude) with us and was off-putting. Price was a bit steep for getting single scoop cones with no fancy cones or toppings. Definitely will not visit again.
