Wooly’s in Pismo Beach is a great spot. The food is fresh and well-made, prices are reasonable, and the place is clean inside and out. It has a casual, laid-back vibe, and the outdoor seating is perfect if you want to enjoy your meal with a view of the beach. Service was smooth, and everything came out just right. If you're in the area and looking for a relaxed place to eat with a great view, Wooly’s is an easy A+.
I just love this place the fish and chips and the chilaqules are delicious The service was good Pismo beach back their diners yup
Fantastic views, wonderful service, delicious food, and dog friendly!! Great place to enjoy any night of the week.
Loved watching 👀 the sun 🌞 set from the deck. The clams were fantastic 👏
Amazing restaurant with delicious food, good view and friendly service. Their menu is really good and it’s hard to pick what to try. Will definitely return to this place the next time we are in the area
Great bartenders and fun place to sit and watch the ocean
I couldn't leave Pismo without getting a clam chowder in a bread bowl. We were contemplating to risk the lines for Splash Cafe but went for Woolies because we thought eating while looking out at the beach would be cool.
Ordering was easy. You order and then seat yourselves. We were lucky to find a table quickly. It was cold so not the most comfortable. Should've worn a warmer jacket.
The Food: okay, I was warned that the fish tacos were fried from frozen but was told they were good. Honestly, they were probably the worst fried fish tacos I've ever had, easy. The tortillas were dry corn(supposed to be). The battery is crispy but flavorless. The fish, no flavor no seasoning and like rubber. The best part about the tacos were when I decided to stop eating them after one.
What about the clam clam chowder you say? Mid at Best. The bread bowl looked really appealing but they put the chowder in a cup and then stick it in your bowl. I mean can you imagine hands and stuff all over it? The bread was good. They make the removed portion into a garlic bread and the clean chowder is warm. It wasn't as awful as the tacos but I'd pass any day and twice on Sunday (which today happens to be). Go for the views. Not the food it you'll be disappointed like I was.
The drinks here are STRONG which makes them taste like straight up alcohol. Not bad for the price. The food is in huge portions and is well made. I got the clam chowder waffle fries and I rate them 8/10. Delicious ?
