Visiting and staying in Pismo Beach with my GF for Valentines day for breakfast we decided on Zorro's Cafe, she ordered the Chile Verde Plate and I The Mesa Mexicano Omlet, both great taste but the pork in the chile verde could have been cut a bit smaller, if visiting Pismo Beach and you enjoy Mexican cooking visit Zorro's.
It's unfortunate so many restaurants in town get good reviews when the food is boring or underwhelming. Typical tourist town reviews in an overall underwhelming food town. But this place was really good. Don't bother with the burrito reviews. They serve shrimp a la diabla... not many serve it and most do it bad. Not in my top 3 but it was good. And the shrimp crab enchiladas with the cream sauce were stellar with a blast from the past response. And they let your dogs...

As the place filled up we could see why that restaurant was referred to us.
We live in Lompoc but plan to drive up to enjoy their food again.
