I really try to support businesses in downtown Pittsburg. This one didn't measure up. The restaurant has a moldy smell. the food was subpar. my eggs were runny and undercooked.The bacon looked as if it had been pre-cooked earlier then served later. The waffle was fair.

I doordashed breakfast from this restaurant today and my order arrived with missing items. I ordered the waffle combo and all I got was the waffle to be exact. I did call and speak with the owner of the restaurant and although he was very apologetic and very nice It's still disappointing to order breakfast and not get what you paid for. I will say though the food was delicious.

This is a great little place with very friendly people who will greet you as a regular after your second visit. On my first visit I pointed out that they weren't making their Reuben right. They immediately researched what a Reuben was on the internet and came out to show me that they did have pastrami in the freezer and no one had taken it out. The next time I visited they had a great pastrami Reuben with sauerkraut and all the right fixings. They also have a lot of other food but I always have the Reuben. I can get it with a salad and their salads are excellent and so is the blue cheese dressing.

Great staff and very accommodating. The food was good. I was really happy with it. There are some issues, however. The coffee sucks. That is huge for me. It tastes watered down.
I changed tables once because I thought the diners at the next table had bathed in perfume. Well, no. Same smell on the opposite side of the restaurant. I’m not sure what air freshener they use, but it’s not good and I won’t return as a result. I still smell the cloying sweet odor and I don’t like it.
Finally…the silverware is insubstantial. Serious food. Serious utensils, please.

This is a cozy spot. And I enjoy my food so that was the most important part for me. Service for me was fast, but I was there earlier, and as I was leaving, more people came in. But the guys in back did turn it up from what I can tell. So thanks for the food.

I love the Eggs Benedict. They are delicious. I've eaten there twice people are friendly, you get a lot of food for your money, the food is fresh and hot.
What a lovely little restaurant! Comfy family vibe, friendly staff and great food! The waffle combo with mixed berries was delicious, even in off season for both kinds of berries. And this will seem like an odd note, but I really appreciated that the pepper shaker flowed freely. I like pepper on my eggs (which arrived unseasoned, letting me salt & pepper to taste, another plus) but in so many restaurants the pepper shaker is all caked and either nothing comes out or I have to pound it to get anything. Here a gentle tap and a sprinkle of finely ground pepper came forth. It's a little thing, but attention to the little things is what elevates a good restaurant to a great one.
