My son and I ordered the fried chicken sandwich with a side of greens, seafood hush puppies and fish tacos!!! Everything was so tasty! My son finished the sandwich before we got on the freeway! And the service was awesome. We were waiting in the car not paying attention and they brought the food out to us! We will definitely be back!!

This is a great place to eat an a beautiful family to match, I love the 3 way or the specials available on different days, now the music is also enjoyable while u wait, the food is perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfect temperature I love it here

I'm visiting on business and wanted to find something I'm not used to here in California and I FOUND IT! Saw this place on the map, saw the menu and knew I had to try it out! It's been 9 years since I've been in the true South and had some LEGIT Southern Style seafood. So without hesitation I made my way over and was a tad surprised but given the times, I fully understand the concept only being take out or delivery. But then I was greeted with happiness, loud southern music and I instantly knew I was in the right place. The enthusiasm and passion by the owners was obvious and it made me feel good inside! I ordered the 2-item with Crab Bites, Catfish, extra hush puppies, and onion rings. Got back to my hotel and opened my meal to find it oozing with freshness! I AM SOOOOOOO GLAD I made the choice to eat at Hush Puppies. I hope this business is doing well and thrives! Good food and GREAT people!
Charged me too much for a basic salad, calling it gourmet! Tried to support for the second time. It's hard to support when I can go across the way and get a better salad and less salt.

I actually loved this place and did everything I could to support. They never have Catfish fillets and the greens are getting a bit weirder. The knew the potato sale wasn't homemade, so I don't even order it. And if it was homemade, terrible! Terrible! Terrible!! Through all of that, I still supported because I love the prawns as well and I wanted to support. BUT.. when there is deception and quality issues with the last thing on the menu I actually like, I have to let go! The deception I'm speaking of, you'll see in the picture I'm posting. They're fooling people (or at least me) with different size prawns in the order and I've never experienced that. It's possible they're downsizing on the size of the prawns to cut down on cost, and I understand. All you have to do is, TELL YOUR CUSTOMER!! Don't surprise them!! Don't charge the same and switch them out w/o saying anything because then it looks deceitful! The quality I'm speaking of is the inside of the prawns were still a bit wet or doughy. Meaning they weren't cooked throughly! That happens. But.. Yuck!! Unfortunately I didn't think to take a picture, but I wish I did. So long Hushpuppies! It's been real!

The food is delicious! I ordered tilapia dinner and chicken wings meal also a kids meal. They give you your money's worth! It is the best I've had since the pandemic. Thanks Rachel McClennon

Very friendly service. I had ordered catfish, hushpuppies, and shrimp which were hot and fresh. Although anyone can let me know in their review if it was just my tastebuds, the catfish was very salty. Otherwise, the breading and texture was great. I really appreciate your business and thought I'd give feedback in case there was a chance of making things stronger, but again might just be me.
