I love this place. It's very good and very affordable. Try the Sunday Brunch sometime, you won't be disappointed. The restaurant is lovely on the inside, the staff is nice and accommodating. They have great drinks too. Great place to have date night or family dinner.

we happen to be around this restaurant and tried their food. it was good to our surprise. Just had to wait bit but it was worth it.

Food was fine, but space itself has a high ceiling and bounces noise around like crazy! Had a solid chicken mole.

I stopped into La Pinta for lunch during a recent visit to the Pittsburg CA area. A business colleague and I were heading out to lunch and they suggested La Pinata. Apparently it was a local favorite to their coworkers. It turns out they were right. The restaurant is decorated with very colorful murals and paintings and sculptures. I did not get to try too many of the menu items but our server suggested I try the Camarones La Plancha, which consisted of grilled prawns marinated in La Pinata's Special garlic sauce. The plate also had beans, rice, french fries, and sauteed veggies. The prawns were served still steaming hot and the garlic was not overpowering. The melted cheese in the beans gave them a nice touch. The dish was a great choice as I wasn't looking for anything too heavy as I had more meetings that afternoon. I found the decor vibrant and the service was very good. Our server brought out extra spicy salsa for us to enjoy with their homemade nachos. Overall a great experience. I would like to go back for dinner sometime.
