I struggled with this,I was not sure I wanted to post this, but I am very disappointed, and decided to do it. The quality of the food is so not what it used to be. I ordered 2 of the Super Famoso pork burritos to go. Cost was 40.00 plus dollars, ok, so I'm expecting good burritos. I was really looking forward to eating my burrito because La Pinata has always been good in the past. Well, my burrito was terrible.. it had some old meat mixed in with it, no lettuce, sour cream or guacamole! I woke this morning feeling like I had food poisoning, feeling sick! Very disappointed, will not be going back. Such a shame.

Food was good, it was pretty loud but apparently thats the theme.Our server left with our check and never returned with our change. We paid in cash and for her to assume it was her tip was just wrong. We waited for about 20 mins then left. The change was less than 20%, but I needed some ones...its the point that she took it upon herself ...That should NEVER of happened. If I wasn't in a rush to pick up my dog from the Vets office down the street I would have spoken to the manager.

It had been about 8 years since I visited this restaurant. Not because I don't like the food. It's just that the cost is too expensive. For a burrito it's almost $20. And everything else is not really cheap. The horchata is $5. The food wasn't all that bad it's just I couldn't come to a restaurant and pay $18 and up for some rice and beans. But other than that the customer service was okay. They checked on us here and there. And it would have been almost $90 for four people. Definitely not coming back here not because of the food but because of the price.Vegetarian options: You have to ask the waiter about the dishes. And you have to make sure that anything that you eat is vegetarian. And that you are able to convert any dish into a vegetarian dish.Parking: There's plenty of parking space. You just got to find a spot.

For four people. And definitely you wouldn't pay almost $20 for a burrito. But we were invited to come and we just went there. The service was all right and the waiter came sporadically to check on us. The ambience was good everything was clean and the restaurant looked clean. Definitely wouldn't come back to sit down and eat some Mexican food. To this restaurant. Also if you are a vegetarian you have to ask the waiter what vegetarian dishes are available and also if there's an option to convert some of their dishes into a vegetarian option. #kingdomgrqphixx

I just found a card that I had been given a while back and thought I’d better use it. I was told they no longer take them because they changed their system. Since we were already there and had wanted to try, we sat and ordered. When our food arrived, she put the plates in front of us and left. We laughed and traded plates because she mixed them up not a big deal, it happens. After we traded, we realized it still wasn’t quite what we ordered either, but it smelled good so we ate it anyway. . The waitress never came back and checked if everything was ok.I called the number on the back of the card and was told the value on the card was still good. La Piñata never changed their system because they must notify the gift card company when/if they do. She also said there were 5 La Piñatas and they all accept the gift card. Disappointing experience. Bad service, wrong order and someone did not know about gift cards

Went to La Piñata for Sunday brunch. Got there at around 11, brunch is available until 1. It was pretty crowded, so maybe that's why this was so bad. There were several food items that were not available. Empty. It is buffet style, so I took a few items, and went back to see if anything had been refilled. One item had been replenished, but others were still empty. The mimosas were flat (no bubbles) and watery. It is not bottomless, but I think 3 per order, but who wants three of those? Nope. The service was not great, our server didn't check up on us. I was mad at myself for spending $50 for two lousy brunches and a soda. Never again for me.

I did a take out order which I have done in the past. When we arrived home, the order was completely not correct. The Chicken was so dry we had to throw it away. There was no Pico de Gallo that had given us ranch dressing period I reached out sent an email with details and a copy of the receipt. And no response was ever given.

We've been going damn near since it opened up years ago I was there Friday night sat at the bar side not caring to see the menu because well it hadn't changed in a long time litte did I know the price did when I got the bill the fish jumped up to 19.99 for 1 to 33.00 for 1, 35 $ was the price for 2 fish I couldn't believe it ..the food there is decent but the prices has me looking at every menu I look at where ever I go now just to see if I'm being set up?
