I went there today me and my husband and we had a good time talking to the owner. She also let us try the fried fish which was soo good. I got the 3 piece chicken ,greens and yams. And all of it was good .Good portions. I don't eat alot anyway. I will be back. It's hard to find good soul food besides my kitchen. But it was worth it!

The prices are too high for the hassle with those small portions. Can't even make a simple burger without making it seem like a problem. Very unprofessional doesn't seem like they really know what they're doing. I won't be back this is the 3rd time I got messed up service from them.

A grocery store is much cheaper and much better quality food how in the world do you serve can sweet potato absolutely horrible green beans taste like mush must have been canned food or completely overcooked the fried chicken was halfway decent but completely overpriced either you need to get a new cook or buy Fresh Foods you're better off going to Popeye's Chicken something is not right with this place I wouldn't recommend this place on my worst enemy is an absolute ripped off

I don’t know why some reviews complain about the price??? Like the food is INCOMPARABLE to what’s around. You can tell they put a lot of love and time to each dish also ingredients are expensive so the prices are very reasonable. 10/10 try the Sunday oxtails!

This supposed to be shrimp and grits I will never Order anything again shrimp still have the peels on them and it was so much butter or grease that’s what they said when I called for a refund bottom line disgusting never again cheese or not it was greasy and nasty period and by reading the reviews I’m not the only unsatisfied customer The food is horrible I see why there closed all the time

The food is extremely overpriced for its very poor quality. My Chicken Dinner consisted of two pieces of chicken. A scoop of the worst macaroni and cheese I’ve ever tasted. Wasn’t cheesy and was definitely reheated and not fresh. A blob of yams with no flavor. And a tiny bottom-half of a cupcake sized portion of dry cornbread. For 24$ an order. You have got to be joking. Will never eat here again. The WORST “Soul food” I have ever had.
