We came here, excited to try a local restaurant. We ordered just waters to drink and fried plantains as an appetizer, the plantains were really good (though my partner got a piece that was cold in the middle). No big deal, it's plaintain so it wouldn't have gotten us sick. Our water glasses had water stains on the outside. We brushed that off as well, though i could tell my partner was getting apprehensive. I got tallarines a la huancaina con lomo saltado, and my partner got salchipollo. My pasta was good, but I was a bit disappointed with the lomo, it just tasted like beef bouillon. My partner said his plate was also ok. What made us decide we were probably not coming back was the sauces. These had arrived with the plaintains, but we hadn't opened them since they were for my partner's fries and chicken. First cup of the green sauce was totally fine, but when he opened the second cup we realized it was already used - no sauce, there were some spots of red from a different sauce. At this point we started getting a bit nervous about the rest of our food, how much was reused from previous people? Our server was also usually gone inside the kitchen, so most of the time we were alone as well. She would come out to help people that came in for to go orders and then leave back to the kitchen instead of checking in on us. Once it was clear we weren't going to be checked on, my partner got up and went to thr fromt counter to get a box for the rest of the pasta i had. After a 10 minute wait, we asked the person behind the counter again, who finally went to get our box. Overall the food was ok, with some concerns about cleanliness, the service wasn't great.

Authentic and amazing. I wish I lived closer so I could eat this every week. The ceviche was some of the best ceviche I've had. Can't go wrong with any of the entrees, they are made with love and you can taste it. Staff was welcoming and kind. My kind of place!

I love the Peruvian food here because it is authentic, delicious and they give great portion sizes! The flavor is on point, they make everything fresh and everyone working is very hospitable and friendly. I almost always order to go since I work in the area but they always make sure I have all my utensils and sauces and never charge me extra for extra green sauce or rocoto! Alex is supe nice and friendly and I am happy to support a local family spot! I love the pollo saltado, caldo de gallina, arroz chaufa, pollo broaster and their catering food for the holidays is delicious and a must for any dinner party or family gathering that you have! It is located in a shopping center that has a good amount of parking and the space is very spacious and has a nice Peruvian decor and feel to it!

I just to Love it when it was a Buffet all you can eat for $15 bucks, but they stop the buffet and got more Expensive after Covid and the Owner just to acknowledge you but now he just stares at you after a while of going there, Chato! Times change and things do get expensive but dont Over do rates. In the end the food is good, service was Alright.

Where to start... This is my second time coming in here the service is nice, place is pretty much clean, time of arrival lunch time... When I sat and see the prices I just wanted to run away... I get the Peruvian ingredients cannot be compare with anything else but prices does it's crazy high for the area Pittsburg, I get Walnut creek Lafayette SF, but Pittsburg!!!! And Parking lot was mostly empty even tho there's other business around it was not even that full. Tamales $4.50 doable and still a bit pricy Ceviche $17 just because it was a really hot day and I wanted something fresh and lemony but I was really disappointed when I open the to go container :( 2 micro pieces of yellow sweet potato "no flavor" the white corn (Peruvian corn) need it to cook more it was really hard to eat, the portion of the fish served is mostly a small cup of soup size and a bunch of onions, I am pretty sure I could count every single piece of fish that I ate Suggestion if you want to have this place full of customers you guys should see if you can go back to the buffet in lunch time, I think this will bring more business in this times instead of overpriced the menu and scaring customers away, don't get me wrong some dishes are good and tasty but location and prices don't go together

Great food! At times they can take a while to prepare your food. For an authentic home style Peruvian meal this place is up there.
