This was a great find (by my husband who doesn’t really look for Filipino food).
He had combo plate with fried chicken and chicken teriyaki and garlic rice. He is a fried chicken snob but he really liked it and he liked the teriyaki chicken. It was a bummer because he chose this place for the chicken skewers but they didn’t have any. Next time.
I had the Tocilog (tocino with egg) with steamed rice. The flavor was right on and I’m so happy each meal came with two eggs. I do like my tocino a tiny bit more browned but it was super good.
For dessert he had halo halo. He really liked that their ice was more finer than normal.
I had something many Filipino restaurants don’t carry and I’ve missed. Mais con Yelo (hielo)! My ice wasn’t as fine but it’s okay. It took me back to my childhood. I loved it.
The place has three four seater tables, it was tight but they also have a couple of tables outside.
We will definitely return when we are in the area again.
Oh and they had Choco Nut so I bought one.
First time here and Ordered for lunch. Saw the sign about one egg due to shortage. Um, that shortage is over. Mind you they had 3 cases of eggs in the fridge. That was already a red flag. 🚩
Cashier wasn’t that friendly. Weird looks from Filipino staff in the kitchen. Kids blaring their iPads in the dining room. We should have left but since we are raised like “considerate” Filipino-Americans, we wanted to try the food.
Sisig silog: one egg 👎🏼, too many onions and red peppers. On the salty side and hardly not enough meat.
Bangus sisig: on the salty side and too many onions and peppers. Just Average. Had much better.
Lomi: Not bad but on the salty side.
Also, we said dine-in yet they packed our food for to-go??? They also only provided utensils for 1 person. We were 2 customers.
On top of the iPads blaring she decides to turn on the tv with music while we are eating. Do they not want diners? They should say “to-go only” or put up a sign! We took this as being rude and disrespectful.
First and last time here and highly Would not recommend.

Best pinoy restaurant in Pittsburg Ca.
We had tapsilog, a 5/5 and Kawsilog, a 5/5. We also order side pork sinigang but it came out like pork nilaga so I give their pork sinigang a 2/5. We also order pork bbq a 5/5 for flavor. Tiny place with few tables inside but the outside had few table

Definitely worth it 👍
A simple interior to dine-in, but the food is amazing. The fried bangus is exceptional, as is the adobo fried rice
Kare-kare on Sundays 😍😂😍😂❤️❤️
Hold me back!!!
Every employee is friendly and you would very much enjoy everything they make on the menu
feels like home 🏠
This is a standard Filipino Turo-Turo for California - hot food in a cafeteria style order set up like Panda Express. If you want good standard Tagalog eats then come here. So far I've had their pork sinigang, ...silog breakfast, and their dinuguan: I loved them all. I'm a repeat customer for sure. Plus the owners and their kids are often there to great you and take care of you.

Went for Breakfast after our visit to the Barber Shop.
It was so delicious.
Got to meet the owner she was so nice.
And I get it. For some it’s a bit pricey. But every went up since Covid.
Overall I was very Satisfied with the service.
Thank You.
Would not Recommend to eat inside.

It used to be that when you placed an order. You would be satisfied with the service, quality, and quantity of the food you would receive. I usually order the sinigan and always ask for extra meat. I have no problem paying more for it. Today, I ordered my usual from someone I had never seen before and asked her for extra meat and 2 scoops of rice. Got home ate my soup and noticed I got more bones than meat. All soup and 3 jalapeño that I really don't care for, no eggplant /vegetables and a slight change on taste of soup. Rice was kind of hard, but not fresh and sticky the way I used to get it. On top of that, she gave me a small cup with more soup on the side that I've had plenty of and not extra meat as I requested. Sorry to say, but service has not been the same since the beginning. I paid OVER $20, mostly for soup, a little bit of meat, and hard rice. I'm not just placing a review for today, but the last couple of times, I've gone there. Each time, hoping things were just a fluke. And sorry to say I'll probably/most likely stop going there. It's just my experience not speaking for everyone else

Looking for something we can’t get in our small town and came across this hole in the wall. THE BEST! The Lumpia was incredible. I tried sisilog. So yummy. Will be back.
