been going to this food truck for al pastor tacos for a few years now, and it never disappoints! we've tried all the meat options and like the al pastor the best, served with sweet pineapple. the hot sauce options are nice and spicy, pairing well with the tacos. the chips are also nice and crispy. never a bad meal here!

Hands down the best tacos. I live in sac and every time I come out that way to visit my bestie we go straight to Mr Js. It's our spot! I wish I captured the first bite of their tacos. For me, it's all about how well the meat is seasoned and their carne is FIRE! My favorite place that makes me want to drive out from Sacramento every week lol

Place was very clean. One other couple was there. I didn’t realize their food was spicy. Whatever they put on my enchilada plate was too spicy for me. Told the lady and she just laughed. So i wasn’t offered something else nor did i get a discount or even comp. meal. I basically ate just the inside. I wont be going back to this place.

Amazing Pastor. Beautifully prepared burrito. Perfect amount of sweet savory and smoky/char on meat. Love the grilled almost candied like pineapple pieces that add to accent the rest of the ensemble. Only downside is the hours aren't reliable in yelp. They should be adjusted.

Mr. Jalapeño is a Food Truck that sells fresh and delishes BURRITOs and more. I really enjoy their Super Al Pastor Burrito with extra pineapples. It's the BOMB. My husband says it's the best burrito in Contra Costa. He enjoys their steak burrito. Highly recommend this food truck if you're in the area. The staff are super friendly too.

This was a good spot to get some decent tacos..but last night I found out that one taco cost 4.50 now and it's the same small taco they have not made it bigger for the price to be so high won't be going there
Mr. Jalapeno has the best food and salsas. The chicken and pineapple taco is to die for. I'm having them cater any future event I ever have! The family is wonderful and so awesome. Eat here!! Have them cater your parties. You won't regret it. I can't stop thinking about those chicken and pineapple tacos and craving them!!
