We've loved their nachos, vegetarian burritos and service at the food truck and restaurant, but their service and food has declined recently. The last 3 orders we've placed had problems and the most recent one was cancelled. I called to inquire and was hung up on. Kind of a bummer because we wanted them to win. Consistency with food prep and focus on service should be priority, but they don't appear to be at either location. One off issues happen, but multiple issues indicate a fundamental failure within the business. We will not be returning to either location.

So we ended up getting a couple of burritos. I got a chicken burrito, I have to say it was really good. I can't handle spicy they didn't put any spice. Mom got pork burrito she didn't like it... she did try the salsa with chips while she waited for the order, and she said it was good. I believe I've heard if the salsa is good, the food is usually good... myth, maybe? Now, for the realistic review. I originally wanted chicken nachos. They couldn't make the nachos as they didn't have the chicken. Mom wanted the Verde Chicken Chilaquiles picture attached to this item that is offered on the online website. This is something else we tried to order over the phone. The lady on the phone said this item is not offered there. I said it's on the menu, she said she didn't know what it was... wait what!?!?! So I took this picture. Mom took this pic in with her... "oh yes we do make this" mom said "OK can I get it?" "OH no sorry we cannot make this today, we do not have the chicken, we can make this for you but will be made with black beans instead of chicken" Wait what!?!?!? So we did eventually find something on the menu that they had all the ingredients for chicken and a pork burrito. We probably should have just went some place else... The one main issue I'm sure was a language barrier, since the woman helping on the phone and in person didn't speak English and we don't speak Spanish. I would order the chicken burrito again if I were to go back. But the frustration from the experience, likely means we won't be back... a bilingual employee would have simplified things on both sides of the conversations. Explore at your own risk! Everything about food and ser ice was bad..cold food ..nobody checked on is even once and we were the only ones in restraunt. Had to find someone for bill. Paid and left and will never go back.HORRIBLE!!

We started off at the taco truck one night. We tried a bunch of food and everything was great but the best was the Al pastor tacos with pineapple!! So of course we went back to try the restaurant that is right next door. Customer service is above and beyond!! Everyone is so nice and welcoming! We thought we were going to order takeout so we looked at the menu and sat in the pool room where there were tables and a tv and music. The waiter brought us waters and chips and salsa. He definitely made us want to stay so we ended up dinning in. The owner greeted us with a complimentary tripas platter with tortillas. We had never tried it before and really enjoyed everything on the plate. Quesabirria tacos are a MUST! These are the best ones I've ever had! Chilaquiles was so good and full of flavor! I ordered chicken Flautas and accidentally got beef but it was still good, my family liked them a lot! I wish we lived closer so we could be here every weekend! Will definitely be back anytime we're in town! Overall, great experience, amazing customer service and the food is the best!!

Wanted to try this place because it has 4.5 stars and now that we have, I dont know why it has such high reviews. There was nobody in sight when we came in, not even other customers. Took a few minutes for somebody to come seat us. The chips were served in this really dirty, food stained bowl. I don't know how you clean a bowl like that either...seems unsanitary. They gave us one TINY bowl of salsa for our whole table, it was maybe a little over two tablespoons. The menu isn't very big and they don't have burritos on the menu, you have to ask for them like it's some sort of secret item. Between our whole table we tried wet burritos, enchiladas, and beans/rice. The red enchilada sauce was slightly too spicy with not much flavor and it was chunky more like a salsa than a classic enchilada sauce. Chicken and beef were a little on the dry side. The items are definitely over priced for the quality and portion. Our waitress just seemed like she didn't want us there with the slight of attitude we were served with the entirety of our dining experience. She was annoyed with us when we asked for more water and salsa. Just will not be going back, but hey, we tried at least. Hope this helps somebody else.

Oh boy, food quality and taste have taken a hit. The Spanish rice, was lacking any flavor and it barely had a whisper of tomato sauce to turn it a shade of red. I had the egg with sausage breakfast (which was a fried hotdog, dice up). That was my bad for not completely reading the menu. The inside of the establishment looks great and the service was still good. We had only been here for breakfast since we have eaten at their food truck before and it was pretty good.Support your local establishments...!!

Best authentic restaurant in town!! I’ve tried the tilapia, the chilaquiles, and the birria so far, all fantastic, but the birria has my heart. All the food tastes high quality and fresh, the restaurant is beautiful (lots of wood work and unique decor, the car area in particular is very tasteful), the servers are very friendly and attentive, and I believe I saw a pool table in a side room a few people were playing at. Never had a bad time here, it’s a really nice atmosphere for a date. Consider me loyal :)Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options/alterations.
