I used to come here all the time growing up. It has changed. Server was rude and seemed irritated when I had a simple question.

It really saddens me that my nostalgic childhood restaurant has gone downhill so badly. I used to go at least once a week and haven't been for months. I don't know what the recent changes have been, but the food portions have gotten smaller but more expensive. The quality is worse, the service has gotten bad, there is no order when picking up. Everyone is confused about who's waiting for a table, waiting for pick up or paying for dine in. At this point in technology they should have a better system and have dine in pay at the table. You shouldn't have to stand in line to pay when dining in. At first I thought maybe they were having a bad day but it was horrible consistently every time I went until I just didn't go anymore. 💔

Solid American style Mexican food. I ordered the crispy chicken flautas with the side, rice and beans. The highlight for me was the chips and dips that they bring out before the food. Would definitely come again.

8.3 💥 I was in the mood for some Mexican food and decided to try out New Mecca Cafe and this place did not disappoint. The service was awesome, the atmosphere was vibrant and the food was delicious. I love the portion of food given and the chip bean dip was perfect. If you are in the Pittsburg area check this place out. 💥

I love the Mecca. Their food is always delicious. The service wasn't up to par as usual but we weren't really in a hurry that night, other than it was 8pm on a school night haha.
Their food ain't the same being tastes like red sauce from a tin can and get two thumbs down it was a wet burrito with beef not good at all same with the bean dip

We sat in a booth it was a little cramped. The food was ok. It was cafeteria style, not my favorite. The service was slow I had to find someone to give me my check to pay. And it’s not very kid friendly.
I don’t usually come here for the burritos, but I love their cheese chilaquiles and the bean dip—those are my go-to items! The service can be a little slow sometimes, but it’s worth the wait. My kids always get the bean, cheese, and rice burritos, and they love them. If you’re in the mood for some solid comfort food, go check it out!
Foid is excellent. Really love the tacos, & bean dip/chips.

good consistance food 😋
Delicious food and genuinely the friendliest service! Every bite was flavorful, fresh, and authentically prepared—we’re still talking about it. Even the half-portion was generous enough for leftovers!
What made the experience even more meaningful was the beautiful artwork by Acosta on display. It’s deeply personal, telling the story of my friend’s grandfather—his heritage, hardship, and heart. It adds such richness to the atmosphere and reflects the authenticity of this place.
An unforgettable meal in every sense. Highly recommend! 🙌
