Samurai X Sushi & Teriyaki

Myyyy goodness. Their Sushi is so delicious. My favorite is 49er roll, California rolls. I don't know what they do to the rice. But it's delicious and their fish is fresh and sooo yummy! Melts in your mouth. GREAT SUSHI!

I love this place because they make the best California Rolls ever!! And just so ya’ll know I’m not into eating sushi ? mainly due to some OCD/Phobias associated with eating RAW meat on any kind of level. So I’ll only eat the California Roll or ones pretty similar. However I have dated people and have a current boyfriend who do eat all types of sushi ? and my boyfriend has eaten at many many different sushi restaurants not only all around California but in the United States and he LOVES this place and says it’s his favorite sushi restaurant!!

Recommended dishes: Chicken Teriyaki, Cali Hand Roll, Edamame, Gyoza

There was no sushi to go. They only offered rice bowls for a to go menu and nothing else besides a kids menu of the same things.I expect to be able to order sushi.

I often remembered the restaurant I visited during my road trip to the U.S. after being discharged from the military in 2016, so I looked for it. I still haven’t forgotten the name of this restaurant haha.

At that time, I was very grateful to the Korean owner who took great care of me as two college students were traveling. Of course, the food was very delicious.

It remains a good memory.

If I travel to the U.S. someday, I definitely want to visit again.

This was my first time here and I usually judge a place by their sashimi and OMG it was excellent and so big. This will probably be my new place for sushi! So glad I found this place

UPDATE: I have moved from Pittsburg to Concord, and miss Samurai X SO MUCH!! I cant find sushi here anywhere near as good as my special place in Pittsburg! Move restaurant to Concord? You are the BEST!This is the freshest, best sushi anywhere. I've tried restaurants all over the Bay Area, including in the city. This is the best I've ever had, and I wont go anywhere else. Really, you need to try this place. Nice people, fish like velvet...it's just heaven.

A true hidden gem. I work in the area and order lunch here often, I have never been disappointed. I eat a-lot of sushi and this is one of my favorite spots

The Pittsburg roll was to die for. I wish I would have taken a picture. I went for my birthday and they made me a special plate.

This place can be easily missed.The service was great.Our food was delicious and the price is about right.Definitely will come back!

Their Bento lunch box is good and fair for the price. Stay with the meats like Teriyaki Chicken or Breaded Pork Cutlets.Stay away from Sushi at all cost.Low Quality-High Price.Purchased a tuna roll and it was pale reddry, tasteless, and had a green glow to it.Mentioned it to them politely and was refunded and told not to come back.I was spending over $100 a month supporting them thru the pandemic and that’s the service I received.
