Coffee is okay here. Nothing too special. They do make their beans in house. Service is good. It's not usually busy and can be a great spot to work if you're needing to go somewhere kind of quiet to do work.

Hello, your employees need customer service training. I love supporting small businesses but todays experience made me not want to come back. It's a shame, for those that like walking their dog and stopping for a cup of coffee while visiting Pittsburg. I was waiting in line to order and the lady making the coffee says loudly that dogs aren't allowed. Reading previous reviews I can see this isn't the first time employees are rude to customers. I would have appreciated it if they had a sign saying that no dogs were allowed, I would have kept walking. Honestly left a bad taste in my mouth without even having anything. Most coffee shops are friendly and are a great way to start the day. Anyways, my well behaved pup and I were kicked out. So I recommend putting up a sign. Thank you.

I've had a few different types of coffee here and they've all been great but the frozen hazelnut latte is my favorite.

Went in here yesterday and a lady behind the counter yelled over to us that we couldn't have our dog in there (which a few weeks ago was fine). So, that's okay. We kept her outside. Then I asked about a drink they had had and the same lady told me it was seasonal - ok, bummer. Again, last time I was there the guy said it was seasonal but he could still make it. Then my husband went in to order for us and asked about some whipped cream for the dog, you know, like a pup cup - she refused. He even offered to pay extra for it, but she said she can't do that. So he said ok just put some on my latte. Like - I'm sorry, but rude. This chick was just rude all the way around. I used to work in coffee - just offer an alternative. A hot lid is a perfect alternative to a tiny cup. She rubbed me the wrong way. Don't think we'll be going back.

I do not recommend this place. Employee was very rude (not sure if he was the owner or a manager). Not a dog friendly coffee shop either.

*Attention Coffee Lovers & Remote workers. THIS IS FOR YOU!*First, if you are looking for a remote space to work, I highly recommend Capitol One Cafe in Walnut Creek. There's no required purchase to enjoy the beautiful open space or huddle rooms. The local coffee shop inside often offers complimentary or discounted coffee. And the wifi is FREE. You're welcome!*The Tea* I will no longer support Steeletown because i believe that customers, especially regulars, like me, should NEVER be subjected to discriminatory or unfair treatment.CLIFF NOTES: My last visit, I came in on a work call, so I sat down and hot spotted from my phone, waiting for my call to end. Then, the manager approached and asked if I was waiting for an order. I said no, I hadn't had a chance to order YET. Then, a few minutes later, he came back and said I'm not allowed to sit for longer than 15 mins and that i needed to follow the rules. This rule has never been mentioned to me on any other occasion. Nor is there a sign And I seemed to be the only POC being harassed or selected for this NEW rule. My boss overhead our ENTIRE EXCHANGE and was upset for me and my experience. So, I wanted to share here and how I plan to vote with my $$$.To the manager you can keep the coffee and your 15 minute rule.

We may be miles away from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, home of the steel industry, but Pittsburg, California has you covered. Kind of. This coffee shop puts a new spin on that independently owned coffee house with some decor and props that resemble the steel industry. Located inside a bank, it definitely elevates that coffee offering at the bank experience.

My favorite coffee shop in Pittsburg is Steeltown. My go to is a caffe latte, with a buttery, warm croissant on the side. I think my favorite thing about this shop is the cool, comfortable ambiance. With plenty seating, some lite background music, and a well made coffee, you can easily have a chat, do your homework or have some time to yourself. Service is always good, with your order being called out once it's ready A must try in Pitt
