Uncle Wang's is fantastic! Decided to try the restaurant for the first time and was not disappointed. The lady who helped me was super nice and attentive.

Our family ordered honey walnut prawns, veggie chow fun, Hong Kong crispy chow mein, garlic beef, Szechuan pork, a small sweet and sour soup (which was huge!) and general tsao chicken.

All of the food was amazing! The portions are way bigger than in most of the photos and the prices were more than reasonable. Even with all of the food we ordered, we didn't break $100!

I highly recommend this place and cannot wait to head back!

For those that love Chinese food this is the best place in Pittsburg ca hands-down the fried rice and the sweet-and-sour chicken is off the hook

First time ordering there food and we actually enjoyed there food, it's so hard to find a good Chinese restaurant that the whole family can agree together that the food was good. Everything we ordered from the soup to the individual entrees was good. We will return.

I ordered sweet and sour chicken, they treated me like they just wanted me out of the Restaurant as soon as I arrived. I don't know why, I was clean and well dressed. I asked if I could have the item served over rice and was told flat out no. So I bought a side of rice which was hard to navigate inside my car with the main dish. They presented me with a broken to go box (two gaping holes in it) with no fork, and no napkin at the end. The food tastes pretty good. The chicken was not over fried, and the veggies were fresh. The service just sucked. It felt like I was treated second rate.

I've had Uncle Wang's a few times both for takeout and to eat there. The best experience food wise was dining at the location because the food was pleasantly hot.

Overall, the food is good, the portions are decent and the staff is friendly. However, it is warm and almost stuffy inside the restaurant which explains why most people order takeout. I've tried the Kung Pao chicken, vegetable Chow Mein, fried rice and garlic shrimp and all were good

It was a warm day and inside the restaurant it was as warm but without a breeze. It was not very comfortable. The food is okay generic Chinese food. Nothing special. There are better places in town (next door) for the same price. I won't eat there again.

Kid-friendliness: There is no kids menu so you either share your meal or order a large meal for your kid. We ended buying a large meal for our 5 year old since we wanted something spicy. It just makes the place even more expensive. I suppose that is the cost of eating out

Uncle Wang Chinese Restaurant on Railroad Ave has consistently been my go-to spot for delicious Chinese cuisine in Pittsburg, and my latest visit only solidified its place in my favorites.

Over the years, I've developed a penchant for their exquisite menu, and this time was no exception. I ordered a variety of dishes, including shrimp fried rice, sweet and sour pork, hot and sour soup, sweet and sour chicken, beef chow fun, and shrimp and broccoli. Each dish was a delightful symphony of flavors, showcasing the chef's skill in creating authentic and mouthwatering Chinese cuisine.

The freshness of the ingredients was evident in every bite, highlighting the restaurant's commitment to quality. The shrimp fried rice had a perfect balance of textures, the sweet and sour pork was crispy yet tender, and the hot and sour soup delivered a satisfying kick. The sweet and sour chicken was a standout, and both the beef chow fun and shrimp and broccoli were executed with precision.

Beyond the delectable food, the warm and inviting ambiance of Uncle Wang's has contributed to making it a comfortable dining experience over the years. The friendly staff adds a personal touch, making each visit enjoyable.

I've been a patron for the last three years, and the consistency in both service and culinary excellence keeps me coming back. Uncle Wang Chinese Restaurant remains a top choice for anyone seeking authentic and flavorful Chinese dishes in Pittsburg. I'm looking forward to many more years of enjoying their delightful offerings, and I wholeheartedly recommend Uncle Wang to fellow food enthusiasts.

What gets me. Is no matter how small or how big your order is when you call them, it will be ready in 10-15mins ???

Lunch here is always great. Good prices for the amount of food. Last time there had the honey walnut prawns with fried rice. Always filling and faster than McDonald's fast food.
