Some of the best Mexican I’ve had and I’ve had a lot. First of all, you are alittle worried about how it looks alittle run down, but then you find out it’s been here for 75 years and the people running it have been doing so for 50 years. The food is amazing and they start your meal with chips and guacamole long with traditional picked carrots, onion and jalapeños. The salsa is very hot but so fresh and delicious. What I like about 301 is that it's just down the street from where I live which makes it so convenient. I don't have to drive far to get good authentic Mexican food. The decor could use some upgrades to something more modern. The server is very sweet and nice. They could use more servers though instead of one person doing everything. I like the pickled carrots, chips and quacamole. The jukebox is pretty cool. The beer is served in a nice ice cold mug. Good place...
