Went for their lunch buffet. I was hoping they had Himalayan food but was disappointed as it was just like other Indian restaurants and typical north Indian food. If they want to promote their restaurant they should differentiate from other Indian restaurants. Considering there were only 2 other tables the service could have been better. I think the owner came once and asked if I wanted more naan. The waitress was busy doing chores and never came by to ask if I needed anything

One of the best restaurants in Orange County. Definitely a top 3-5 spot in NORTH oc in the Placentia yorba Linda area.
They sell “Indian” food but I believe the owners are Nepalese. Way better in my opinion because the stereotypes of Indians and cleanliness broods to be true from my experience in life. Family owned spot as you can see kids running around.
Only gripe is food can take long due to business and short staff, but that tells me they are making everything fresh and not having anything sit out all day!
They make the best lamb briyani ever, probably my favorite dish ever.

Chicken Momo was excellent, vege momo not so much.
The name of the restaurant is not appropriate. Everest is not in India. But this restaurant doesn't care.
That's why we don't go here that often.

Jhol Momo was good. The name Everest doesn't suit with India. It s owned by Nepalese and it sounds Indian. It even sounds like Mt Everest is in India. That's what my American friend said to us.
I would have given 5 star for Momo but mismatch of names didn't like it.
