Food is delicious but portions are unpredictably silly. I have ordered chilaquiles from this place about five times.. 3 of the five times I’ve received about 8-9 chips as my entire plate of chilaquiles. They sit on top of the egg so it looks like there’s more but literally about 4 bites of actual chilaquiles before I’m eating saucey eggs only. Bomb sauce but come on guys… chips are cheap so don’t get it. Similar experience with the biscuits and gravy as well.

the food didn’t taste good, chicken sandwich was to watery, the birria has a weird taste and meat was more like machaca style, the worst was wings where so thin no meat whatsoever, coffee was not good - the breads where good, but the good news is the customer service from our server was great

This is our spot now! The food is delicious. The complimentary pan dulce to start is the perfect touch. Staff is always friendly and very helpful. Jose was our server this morning. Great conversation as a great smile. Perfect way to start our Saturday.

It was good. Service was awesome. Everyone was sweet. My husband gave it a 10/10. I give it an 8/10 on the food. I ordered non spicy chilaquiles but it was lacking a bit of flavor. Also, given this rain. I'm suggesting they put those... Matts to dry your shoes. I slipped (didn't fall) but I did pull my leg. So everyone stay safe

Fresh Mexican Bread served while you browse the menu. Some of the best I have ever had. Soft and warm. The food is delicious, but the plates are a little small for me, but I think that may be by design, you will have room to have a dessert. And the treats are worth every penny. The little piggy's are my favorite.

Stopped by the Placentia location for brunch — kind of like a Mexican twist on a diner. The place has a big menu with both American and Mexican options, so there’s something for everyone. We got the asada chilaquiles plate, chilaquiles torta, strawberry banana brioche French toast, and the butter cookie pancake. Portions were big, and everything came out pretty quick. They give you complimentary mini conchas when you sit down, which is a nice touch. The food overall was solid — nothing over the top, but definitely hits when you want a casual, hearty breakfast or lunch. Service was friendly, and the space felt open and relaxed. People call it the Mexican Denny’s, and honestly that fits — no-frills, big servings, and good comfort food when you’re in the mood for it.

Better than any Denny's or IHOP I've ever been to. Staff was very friendly; it had a lovely atmosphere; and the food was great! I'll definitely be back next time.

We visited on 10/25/25 around 1045ish. We didn't even have to wait 5 minutes. Grisel took excellent care of us and gave us some great recommendations. The vanilla mini bread was DELICIOUS! Both the Caramel Churro Stuffed French Toast and the Strawberry Cheesecake Pancakes were really good. We will DEFINITELY be back to try the Strawberry Banana Nutella Conchas!
