Stay away from this bakery! They make up prices as they wish and are always over charging. Check your receipt and ask for prices as they ring you up. They will rip you off that is the only guarantee. When you overcharge one customer it’s one thing, when you consistently overcharge all the customers it turns into a legal matter of bad business practice. The bread was not good and to be honest the grocery store next door has better quality bread at a fraction of the cost.
The mexican sweet bread and bolillo was good. Tried the tamales, they were ok.
Súper panadería, recomiendo todo, pero mi pan favorito son las donas 🍩 de chocolate, la atención súper. mil hojas te llevará a revivir las panaderías de México con su sabor.
First time i buy tamales there will never buy again.not worth the money 95 percent masa a tea spoon of meat . If you go there buy one and you wont spend 34 dollars there.you people that say they are the best dont know good food.they are worth about 6 dollars a dozen if that.only good thing is the bread
They didn't write on the cake what I asked for, they delivered it to me simply

Idk what Denise is on but this place is amazing. They didn’t have slices available this time that I came in but I got the fruit tart and it was the best freaking fruit tart I’ve ever had. Every piece of fruit was sweet, from the mango to the blueberries. The crust was perfect, not hard and rocky but firm and just kinda melts in your mouth with the cream. It’s not that unnaturally sweet, which is great because the fruit was perfect. Juan is such a great person, and his speciality cakes (which the store was named after) are worth it. They use fresh produce and make the cakes fresh, so of course they’re worth the money. Support your local bakeries, not the ones in groceries stores that are generic and mass produced! You won’t regret it.

Amazing bakery, the Mil Hojas special cake is to die for! It’s layers of sponge cake, flakes, custard, topped with light frosting and peach, strawberries, and kiwi! And then the other special fruit tart, is amazing crust with custard, topped with blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, peach, and kiwi! $46/ cake that feeds 10-12 people. Met the young owner he let me try a sample of the sponge cake with the custard before I ordered. Will be coming back. Also he let me know they’re open all holidays!!
