Absolutely horrible customer service I've been to this place about 3 times now and the one time I come and pick up my food the lady at the front is being rude she asked me to give her a phone number and I was about to give her the phone number to pick up the order i placed and she walks away trying to tend to the other tables eating like how rude so I'm standing there and after like 8 mins go by she finally asks me for the phone number to pick up again and I walk out because of the mistreatment

ABSOLUTELY NOT. This is hysterical i’m still laughing it’s just to funny. I wanted some wonton noodle soup for lunch. I’m viet american and wanted some rich chicken based broth, fresh made wontons and vegetable. Generous to say I received NONE of that. I got watery, clear bland soup with gummy. overcooked disguising (from frozen) wontons, one snap pea, a few mushrooms and they put slices of cooked lettuce in my soup. My MAIN ISSUE? they had no egg noodle and had the audacity to give me UNSEASONED CHOW MEIN NOODLES as a replacement for the soup. Guess my 15 dollars was worth that much rather than call me to say they can’t even make soup correctly. Wasted my lunch hour to drive there, pick up and come back to my desk at work, to stare at inedible cold soup, had a good hard laugh at my situation, tossed the soup and now i’m hungry and mildly irritated at the situation. I’m not expecting din tai fung, but the bar is on the floor. Even panda wouldn’t do me this dirty.

Placentia has a Chinese population of about 1%, so throw authenticity out the window. This is faux Panda Express so we have officially come full circle with Chinese-American food with who copies who…

Here’s the kicker, you will probably get fresher food at Panda Express than here. The chicken chow mein I got was the catalyst for this review. They just have it sitting in a warmer and than add their old steamed/dried out chicken that has that old chicken smell to it. Chow mein should have some wok Hei to it, but this was purely boiled noodles with old chicken. The portions are pretty solid, but the quality is way off.

The clientele here and the reviews are old white dudes whose wives/ex-wives haven’t cooked a homemade meal for them in decades.

Staff is attentive, but obviously lackadaisical in the kitchen with the freshness of the products.

Will not be back :/

My first time trying Oriental Chinese Cuisine and can't wait to come back. This is the best Authentic Chinese restaurant in OC! I was blown away with how delicious everything was. We got the walnut Shrimp, House Chow Mein, and Sweet and Sour Chicken. We also got the Po Po Plate as an appetizer. Definitely a must try!

food came out surprisingly quickly, and was delicious! I’m not normally huge on chinese food, I go with my partner, but every single thing we ordered tasted soooo good. Good enough that I’m writing it down for the next time we’re in town.
They even went ahead of the two of us and gave us an extra plate specifically for us to share each other’s meals. So thoughtful of them! The restaurant was peaceful as well.

Hmmm, where do I start? Their fried Rice is the best I've ever had. It has a generous amount of vegetables and egg, and the texture is wonderful. It's a bit chewy, but not overdone. The hot and sour soup is the best hot and sour soup I have had in California. It is so flavorful. The orange chicken is delicious! It's lightly breaded, I'm very crispy, even though it's covered in orange sauce. It provides the perfect crunch, and the chicken is juicy. The sauce is not overly sweet, either. But the best part is the staff. They're always friendly, and make us feel welcomed. They're attentive and kind. Every time we visit, I feel that they appreciate us dining with them.

This place has ZERO ambience. But who cares when the food is THIS GOOD!!!! I don’t even have anything else to say. Best Chinese food in OC HANDS DOWN!! Service is great and friendly, they do a TON of take out orders, but do yourself a favor and go to the location and sit inside the restaurant. Take in the plain white walls with the near empty fish tank, and the Knick knacks all around. And then order the hot braised fish, or the salt fish, the black pepper beef, or any other offerings from their extensive menu-and wait. Once the food comes to your table piping hot and aromatic, you won’t be thinking about anything else.

Parking: Plenty of spots out front but another entire parking lot in the back.

Wheelchair accessibility: Their is close and convenient disabled parking as well as ramps

The order was to go and chose the family option B, I asked for fried rice and I got white rice, the broccoli beef was all broccoli and lucky to have some beef. The food was all right, and the order was off. So I am not as impressed as some of the reviews that I read. We will not likely return.

Great family style food. Nothing fancy, just really good food. Service can be a little slow, but the food is worth it. Our go-to spot for Chinese food.
