Literally the best pho place in OC (I’ve tried lots of them). Their phomazing comes with a giant ox bone that you eat the meat off of and will make you drool. Husband gets the chicken chow mein that I end up eating half of. Rich authentic flavor tastes like it’s from Asia.
Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the food. The rice tasted like it had been cooked a long time ago — it was dry and even slightly crunchy. The spring rolls were also quite dry, and the dipping sauce had an unpleasant flavor. The only highlight of the meal was the Thai iced tea, which was delicious and refreshing.
One does not simply order Pho from any regular reataurant. During the chill of the winter months, one's pho must not only be hot enough to warm ones stomach, but the flavor must be equally satiating.
