Seemed like a really great place too get back into the 80s life and it was.
The issue we had was with the security, there were unimaginable amount of security walking around and right after having a few drinks and the band came on we went on to dance and almost two minutes later we were being my escorted out of the facility because they said we were “wobbling.” I know I don’t have the best dance moves but really getting kicked out for dancing. Cmon !!Honestly would give it a one star just didn’t want to be like that.

The bouncers displayed unprofessional behavior, seeming more interested in exerting authority than in creating a welcoming environment--even in an empty bar. In today's challenging economy, one would expect gratitude toward patrons, yet we were denied entry simply because someone in our group had an empty beer can they intended to dispose of from the Uber. This overreaction reflects poorly on the establishment and suggests a lack of focus on hospitality. As local residents, we'll be sharing our experience with others, encouraging them to visit Kelly's instead, where customer service is prioritized.

This place has been on my list of places to visit since moving to the area. The music was awesome and did not disappoint-5stars here. I had such a great time. They played your famous 80s, some funk, alternative, house, and rock en espanol. Mixed age group. Entry is cash only, and they don't take large bills, so come prepared. Parking small but easy to get in and out since we ubered here. Did not try their food. They do have areas to reserve for parties. Security on premise and friendly. Kept my drinks simple so I can't speak in regards to the Bartenders mixing skills, they were attentive, remembered what we ordered so reordering was fast. Front door staff was not the friendliest, and Bartenders are to the point, polite, and get their job done but are not the friendliest, but maybe because they are dealing with people who are drinking... but a smile goes a long way. However, this did not matter as much since they were efficient. Staff=4 stars.

They didn't hold back on the 80's theme. Just about everything in the place feels like pulling you into it. The cocktails are creative and the service was great
Parking: Not a lot of parking in this very busy shopping center unfortunately

I remember the 80’s like it was yesterday.a birthday night out .saw idol x a Billy idol tribute band.and thay rock the house down.cute bartender girl was working thair she was new.dj was good playing all the hits and videos of that time. I as thair Saturday October 12 all dect out for holloween and the fog machine was cool. I had a very great time.see you next time ?
We went on a Sunday night at 9:30-10pm which was super slow. There were probably no more than 40-50 people including the staff. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed ourselves watching everyone perform though we didn't quite get the urge to go up yet. The decor was fun and neon lighting everywhere. I almost felt like I was in a pinball machine or a video game but the decor fits the name. It along with some of the songs took my friend and I back to our youth as we're in our late '50s. Canyon High School, Class of '84! Woo whoo. As far as the karaoke equipment it seemed to run pretty well and they had the words everywhere so everybody could sing along no matter what direction you were facing. We were encouraging all of the participants but it was just a slow night. The drinks were okay, $3 tacos were great and the onion rings were really good. I'm not sure if they're new but they're in a small strip mall on the corner of McCormick & YL Blvd., near the intersection of Yorba Linda Blvd. & Rose Dr. Give it a try, hopefully next time it'll be more lively. The bartender was awesome. I think they're new so they just need to give it some time and I'm sure their clientele base will build up with time, word of mouth and a little marketing. ??
Wheelchair accessibility: I use a rollator which is a walker with wheels and it wasn't an inconvenience to anyone. I'm sure anyone with the wheelchair would have been able to get around. Probably would have had to sit on the Edge of the tables instead of getting in the middle.

Went to the 80's bar last night and they still charged a $15 cover knowing full well that by the time I got there the band that was playing was doing their last couple songs. After that it was just a DJ playing random 80's songs -- hardly worth the cover charge. What a racket. On top of that, I ordered a couple Old Fashioneds at the bar and they were quite literally the WORST Old Fashioneds I have ever had.

$15 cover charge. The band doesn't start until 10:00. They play for 1 hour tear down and they're gone. We won't be returning.
Every 1 was so nice, service was great and security was great. Loved the band, the music and the people! Good times to be had here!

What a fun place to listen and dance to 80's music of all sorts! 80s pop, rap, funk, alternative, and rock. The DJ was fantastic and there are live tribute bands that start after 10 pm. Parking was not that great though. I wouldn't bother looking for parking if you get there after 7 pm. Park down the street on McCormack and just walk to the 80's Bar. I didn't eat food, but my friends had french fries and they were a humongous serving so you can share.
Parking: On weekends, if you get here after 7 pm, park on the street. Don't bother looking for parking in front of the bar. It's packed! There is another bar next door to the 80's Bar.

The green room experience in the ice cream truck was so fun! Made up for the inconsistent DJ in the club. The truck was playing all the 80s hits and the free ice cream really topped the night! Hope they continue to have it!

Fun time at the 80s bar! The Madonna tribute band was fun. We went here for a birthday party and had a 6 top table for our party. That worked out cause half the party was on the dance floor all night. A voodoo ranger ipa was $8 decent price. Atmosphere was fun and themed. The girls bathroom only had 2 tiny mirrors though, that was disappointing, a girl has to freshen up after her sweaty dance moves.
Expect bar food if you are going there to eat. Nothing really special about the food. I had a chicken quesadilla, it did the trick. I would return! Expect a line and a cover charge.
