Original Pancake House

I won’t give it 5 because of the extremely long wait- 47 minutes to be exact to actually get some food. They told us 25 minutes but that was wrong. I will not go back because it’s too busy and don’t want to wait. Brought my mom here for her birthday, food was good. Got the mandarin crepes the syrup was delicious just like the fresh orange juice. ? small portion of ? bacon. No cappuccino only regular coffee. No music. Hire more staff and add more seating or new locations. Price for family of $4 was about $60-70. Forgot to bring my fly fan, flys are big! ??

This diner makes you feel like you're not in California in the best way possible. Their pancakes are very unique and, in my opinion, much higher quality than Denny's or iHop. I usually order them with chocolate chips and whipped cream, which is excellent. Their bacon is, and I am being very serious, the best restaurant bacon that I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. It is very thick, crispy, and the slices are massive compared to other diners. They have massive omelettes served in a whimsical circle shape as well. The coffee is excellent and they have hazelnut and vanilla creamer options + refills. I've also never received anything less than very friendly service! Highly recommend as a breakfast spot.

The menu is not extensive. Everything is just consistently cooked well! Always tasty!

The pancakes are my favorite! Light and fluffy with whipped butter and syrup. Their bacon is thick and crispy.

I always like to try new items. But here it's always pancakes, bacon and eggs.

Got the 4 bacon and 2 eggs, replaced the pancakes with chocolate chip pancakes. Was delicous. Bacon was thick and perfectly cooked as well as fatty. Eggs were cooked in butter and pancakes were fantastic. In fact, the whole meal was bussin for just 15.50 bucks. However the rustic wooden look it had before was lacking from other houses they had. Other than that, food was great and family enjoyed it in the morning. It didn't have many people at 8 am on Friday. Will come again!!!! ????

I am shocked by the good reviews . You walk in and its a weird atmosphere. We sat down and gave it a try anyways hoping the food was better than the looks. I mean, its just pancakes, what could go wrong ?

Im shocked by some of the prices for some items. I am shocked by the lack of service. I am shocked by the take away PLATES that they give. We left our food at the table and dont plan on coming back. What a joke. I really didnt think it could be worse.

Clearly had been sleeping on this place. Lived here for 4 years and had never visited. But BOY!!!!! What a treat!!!! I had the blue berry pancakes (w compote), corn beef hash and eggs and it went to my top 5 breakfast spots of all times! Megan was super attentive as our waitress taking great care of us and providing “best in class” service. I’m writing this on day 2 because after 4 years it was so good….. I’m already back again!

I like going to the pancake House I came to this certain location because I was around the area . I was disappointed with the apple crepe found egg shells in my crepe the cooks need to pay attention because especially if your eating your enjoying your food and hungry and all the sudden you feel eggshells in your food it's not tasty at all. The service is sweet and friendly but the food isn't that great I don't think I will be coming to this location anymore. I'll probably go to Anaheim or Orange. Not recommending family and friends here big disappointment . The floors of the restaurant were dirty found hair in one of the chairs . Especially with your prices I think you guys can do better on fixing the environment.

The staff here are always super nice and helpful. They recently raised the prices but there is a menu with junior plates on the back of the menu that are reasonable. They also will upgrade your regular buttermilk pancake for specialty one for $1.50. My favorites are cottage cheese pancakes and pecan pancakes.
