One of the employees standing near the lottery ticket machine was nice to show my elderly mother to the restrooms
I just bbq’d one of the best ribeye steaks I’ve ever had!! It was packaged today and was super tender, amazing flavor!! Last weekend, I ordered 2 giant subs from the deli and they were making them when I arrived! Very fresh and nicely loaded…just wanted to do a shout out to the Safeway staff, you don’t have easy jobs, but wanted to make sure you know you are appreciated by us locals 🥰
store is still closed says on line open 24 hours says on there doors open 24 hours but they still closing at 10 ...same old not helpful there and dont want to work .I will drive down the hill from hear on out unless it's an emergency but even then they probably be close.
I would like to thank their highly unskilled and poorly trained staff for multiple unpleasant visits.
pricing sucks crap on demand like power aid have to go clean to P ville to get what you want at a fair price
Awesome hometown store ! friendly staff
I was told that bakery personnel would start at 4 am. Some snotty employee told me that I was told wrong without offering any help or a possible alternative solution.
Employees are great. Easy shopping. Teressa always takes good care of us.
Love their chicken, decent sides, meats and cheeses

This is the go-to store for locals and flatlanders just passing through. The managers are very community minded and donate to local charities!
The Pollock Pines Safeway has the best employees! They are super friendly! I drive up from Placerville to shop there quite a bit!
This store is what I would expect for the area. A few friendly people, a very dysfunctional deli and a great group of Starbucks employees. Recently a transplant from the Bay Area, I am very grateful that we HAVE a chain store in town however there is definite room for growth here. I noticed recently that there is a new deli crew however they continue to complain about being overworked, shift changes and what they recently did or are going to do. Maybe I'm expecting too much??
Great place to shop for Crystal Basin campers and residents. Been shopping here for years.
i went on satruday
