It is located off the main road and opens up to scenic views and old homesteads dating back to the 1860s. Guests can enjoy a refreshing beer or soda while supporting this beloved spot. The campground is wonderful, with clean porta-potties and a solar shower available for the entire group. The bar boasts a classic old-school vibe from the gold rush days, featuring very reasonable prices ($1 for a soda!), and Rance, the bartender and general manager, is friendly and engaging, sharing a wealth of history about the property and its 40 acres.
The lovely grounds include a nice patio out back that overlooks meadows and the Sierras, providing a breathtaking view from the deck. This oasis in the desert is the perfect place to unwind after a long day of riding, with cold beers, great t-shirts, and exceptional service. The establishment also hosts popular events, including the Red-neck Olympics, which feature entertaining games. Uncle Tom's Cabin is truly a hidden gem that deserves a visit.
