Great food, large portion for just the regular. The service from the staff was great and welcoming. Told them I was new to this restaurant and they helped out very well! If I visit Hueneme again I will for sure come back!
The poke lacks all the typical flavors of poke- sesame oil, soy, green onion. The fish is not fresh and the octopus is fishy. The avocado is good. The spicy sauce or tuna or whatever it is is way too spicy, full of Thai chili peppers overwhelming the flavor. The presentation is a cheap clear plastic to go tray, not a poke bowl. Overall 2-3 stars.
