Since this place opened, my husband and I have talked about trying it out. We would check the reviews occasionally which were often bad.

It had been a while and when we checked today, the reviews were pretty good. Maybe I should stop trusting those...

Our server was not friendly, nor helpful.

The appetizers were delicious, and the person who brought them out was delightful. This had us hopeful for our entrees would be amazing, but I'm writing this with a horrible stomach ache and severe nausea hoping my husband stops puking long enough for me to tag into the restroom.

The lamb I had was gross. Just plain gross. The flame went out for our bowls before we were able to cook all of the meat, so we were left with cold bowls of soup with raw meat in them. It took several attempts at trying to flag someone down and being ignored before my husband finally had to get up to get someone to re-light them, though by this time we were pretty over the experience.

The wagyu we were served was RANCID. It was inedible and had clearly gone very VERY bad, and I'm guessing is one of the main reasons we both started feeling sick before we even got a foot out the door.

The Ramen noodles I got were rubbery and tasted like uncooked flour. Hands down the worst noodles I've ever had.

I don't know if they pay to remove bad reviews, or this was a bad day, or perhaps it's always this bad and their customers are delusional with iron stomachs. Either way, you could not pay us to eat here again.

Glad I finished typing as it's my turn for the bathroom.... 💩💩💩🤢🤢🤮🤮

The food was delicious, fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The place itself is very clean and well-maintained, which made the dining atmosphere even more enjoyable. What really stood out was the staff. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Their great service made the whole visit even better. We will be back for sure!!!❤️

Ragin Pot is a great place to enjoy a flavorful and satisfying meal. The food is delicious, fresh, and well-prepared, with a variety of options that make it perfect for any appetite. The breakfast choices are especially tasty and filling, giving you a great start to the day.
The service is excellent — fast, friendly, and attentive. The staff go out of their way to make sure customers feel welcome and taken care of. It’s clear they value good hospitality, which makes the whole experience even better.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a clean and comfortable setting that makes it enjoyable to sit down and relax. It feels casual but still very welcoming, whether you’re dining alone or with friends.

Found this place during our weekend stay in Oxnard. The place is clean with cute decors. The hotpot, I got the beef hotpot with roasted red pepper broth, medium spicy. It’s so good I finished them! They have sake jelly shot with yuzu flavor, I got that, too. Refreshing. I will dine here again whenever I come to Oxnard.

Wasted time, customer service was TRASH. Understaffed and long wait time. The food looks good but unfortunately we did not get a chance to try it.

March 2025:
We visited with friends at this restaurant because it has been a few years since I'd visited. The food was so good! Everyone was happy with their food and we got try to Dubai chocolate made by the owner, too! The restaurant is nice inside and fun to visit and we also got entertained by the owner's daughter.

I have ordered the same thing, beef pad Thai, twice already. Both times the food was perfect. I have also had their soups during the rainy seasons. The restaurant is clean and has a nice vibe to the environment. Perfect spot. The prices are reasonable and the owner is a G.

I had the tiger milk boba tea, military stew, and bunny buns. The tiger milk tea is excellent (if not a little skimpy and the refills aren’t free, so next time I’m there I think I’ll order soda instead), the military stew is delicious (but I wasn’t able to eat it all because I only have so much room in my stomach), and the bunny buns are horrible. Sure, they’re cute and all, but they’re mostly breading and hardly any custard, and they’re not nearly sweet enough for my taste. The prices for nearly everything there are considerably good for what you get (especially in today’s economy!) even if you only have $40 or a little less to your name, and the atmosphere is a step or two above decent. There’s a fair amount of decorations and they’re nice (especially since it’s the holiday season), and even the restroom smells nice! And yes, there are decorations in there too, which unfortunately borderline rival the decorations in the dining area itself. It’s a fairly small and casual restaurant, but it’s a great place to eat with your friends. All in all, I highly recommend it! And about the fires under the bowls, they take a while to go out, but they go out on their own. You don’t have to ask the waiters to put them out for you.
