At first I was excited to go visit this restaurant, but the waitress had a bad attitude, is like she doesn’t want to do her job and unfriendly. The veggies, is very small cut. The meat and fish balls is limited. This restaurant is below my expectations, other Jpot I had been through is way better than this. I don’t know why some people give them more stars.

Hands down my favorite restaurant in Ventura county. In the three years I’ve lived in California I’ve been hard pressed to find someplace that delivers the way Ragin’ Pot does. Price, taste, options, and service all coalesce into the perfect establishment. Much love to John and the crew!!

Service was excellent and friendly, the food was delicious, ingredients were fresh. The experience was somewhat uncomfortable with the inability to control the temperature of the food served in the hot pot, and while I understand that this is the nature of a hot pot, a way to transfer the cooking food to another bowl or plate to cool down enough to eat would have been helpful as the food continually cooked over the open fire. Again, the food was very tasty, just difficult to eat at the temperature it climbed to. Overall, a unique dining experience that is worth revisiting.

I've passed by this place numerous times waiting for the perfect time...so when it started raining I jumped on the chance to eat here. All I can say is damn!! This place is so good! Best part is u get ur own hot pot and not sharing with other people. Alot of choices on broth and ingredients to choose from so everyone should be happy with something...on a side note the playlist playing was awesome....ahha....I would say the only part that wasn't good is the owner is a niners fan. Hahah...other than that this place is great.... especially for Oxnard since it's always cold

Great food, great service! We were a party of 9, and the owner was super helpful in helping us choose entrees. We ordered the chicken pho, udon noodles, drunken noodles and chicken fried rice l, and everything was delicious!

If you like Pho, I highly recommend trying this place. Great menu options, customer service was great, and at a very reasonable price considering the large portions you get.Food was delicious and most importantly fresh! Definitely making it a go to from now on…

This was a nice atmosphere I was expecting great food and service. However upon ordering the server was unable to accommodate for any substitutions. This isn't a good spot for Ramen and the Hotpot was just different. They charge extra for everything but are ok if you ask them to leave something out. They use a lot of filler and not much meat or substance to the hotpot. To save broth They add all of the meat and ingredients to the bowl for you. I don't recommend this place to be honest I had higher expectations and was let down. Even after I ordered 2 hotpots and didn't like mine. So in addition I was going to order a Ramen until they told me it came with pork and even if I didn't want the pork they would charge an extra 5 dollars for chicken. But were ok if I didn't want the pork. Don't recommend. The server wasn't even able to help me or even seem like she cared or would try to make my experience better. ? no Bueno in my opinion. Don't come here.

John was such a gem. I had a last minute bday dinner for my 12 year old daughter and he allowed us to decorate, cook our own hot pots at the table shabby shabby style, bring in a cake and stayed open for us to sing happy birthday after dinner. We also ordered some dessert there as their animal face dessert buns are a must get!! The taro buns were also delicious and a beautiful lavender color. John was extremely attentive to us from start to finish. Please try this place everything is so fresh and the broths and veggies are so delicious ? 5 stars Happy to have some good new food in the neighborhood.Vegetarian options: Lots of Veggie options!!Dietary restrictions: They had many nut free and vegetarian options for some of us that needed thatKid-friendliness: They sell the cutest stitch lollipops, Hello kitty snacks and ramen, animal piggie banks, light up push pops and other candy. Lots of fun for the kids including the DIY dinner (with parental supervision of course) ?
I believe this place has some of the best tasting food, great food, amazing drinks, and good snacks. A must try if you’re in the area!!!
