I’ve been going here for close to 40 years now. I grew up on this place. The food is awesome and consistent, same flavor and quality all the time. The staff is always helpful in my decision, explaining what they have in detail of their food and are always very friendly. This place is a staple and landmark for Port Hueneme, and probably one of the best Hoggie/ Sandwich shops around.Parking: Most of the time parking is no problem. Parking can be hard if it’s a busy day. Especially when the weather is nice and people are out and about. The restaurant can get busy and crowded. Definitely call in your order first if you’re picking up an order. It makes it much easier to get in and out easily.Kid-friendliness: There are several options for kids to eat.

Visiting from out of the area, hubby was craving a good hot sandwich not from a chain restaurant. This little shop was exactly what he was looking for. Service was great, since we had never been there, the cashier let us know what the popular sandwiches were. Got a hot pastrami and a steak/cheese/mushroom, and a side of onion rings and fries. We each ordered a half sandwich and they were very filling. All the food was very good. We'll be sure to come back if we're in the area.

They forgot to put cheese in my steak and to salty to pricey I could of went to a restaurant and just paid 15 for a plate. The fries were a lot smaller I won't go back The guys cook better then the girls and they stuffed my sandwich more with the Bell peppers and onion then with the meat.I was not Happy ?

Classic stop when in the Hueneme area… Always fresh food made by the order. The place gives you a glimpse of past diners.
Sandwiches are huge if you get the 12 inch. The cherry peppers and pepperoncinis are in a bar next to the counter and are the best additions to your sandwiches. The cashier was nice and food was delicious. Will definitely be back again.

Used to be one of the best spots in Ventura County for Hoagies but since change of ownership and quality of food it has fallen off considerably. The one plus side is that the pricing is identical as subway but sadly subway is slightly better. Miss the old place.
Super casual, well established comfort food. This place has been going strong for as long as I can remember- this is where you go if you want the best local sandwich. Haven't had a bad sandwich, but my favorites are the Philly Cheese steak and the Meat Ball subs. Get fries, a half order is enough to split for two.
Had been a long time since we have been here. Was a bit surprised with the prices, but everything is expensive these days, was worth the cost. Sandwiches were delicious, fries were so yummy, dipped in fresh ranch dressing.

food is always good and fresh ,prices are a bit on the higher side but it's manageable...the only thing I don't like is that the cook makes the sandwiches like tacos...with the meat shoved on one side and the majority of the sandwich is just veggies...I tried to explain that one time and just got a crazy
