Had dinner reservations at 6:30pm and even then we had to wait almost 30 minutes to be seated! We had to go check with the host several times and they weren't too friendly. Ridiculous.
II have been eating at Gus's with family and friends at a moderate frequency since it opened in Porter Ranch. The food and the service are always is great and I find the prices reasonable. The noise level and unmanaged children caused me to reduce the frequency until I started opting for outside seating. Now I have no hesitancy in booking reservations there.
Made a reservation a week in advance, they put us next to the kitchen AND next to the door leading to the patio so it was VERY windy. Food is great, service was great, but it's extremely loud and didn't appreciate getting an awful table location.
Great neighborhood place, great food. Bartender Kat is terrific; she knows everyone's name and interacts with us. Fun place to sit and watch games while eating great food and having a beer.
I enjoyed the food at Gus's BBQ in Porter Ranch. I had the Pulled Pork. My husband liked the Baby Back Ribs. We dined with two friends. My friend liked her Gumbo dish and her boyfriend liked his Chicken Fried Steak. The service was good and the waitress was friendly.
We loved that we could make reservations. I liked the booth vs a table. The loco moco and eggs benny were delish! Service was great and we will be back!
Can't figure if it's the chef or something wrong with the place but the food was terrible. Kids couldn't eat the baby back ribs, couldn't finish more than half the famous burger although it looked great just didn't taste anything like it looked. Mac n cheese was cold. Fries were the best thing we had.
Our first time eating here. Excellent food and excellent service. Our server Aaron was very helpful. Looking forward to returning
Lovely brunch as always - thank you for the lovely food and drinks and your warm and friendly staff!
The food id always great and our service always good. Sometimes the reservation are not honor because they have given the table away.

We were there for the Happy Hour menu. I enjoyed a wedge salad and a tasty pulled pork slider with cole slaw at great Happy Hour prices. We also ordered their corn bread which is a must! So delicious! Hubby ordered the St. Louis ribs off the regular menu and the meat was just falling off the bone tender! He enjoyed every bit of it! He also loved the creamed corn side dish. Our server was very attentive! Can't wait to go back!
We made a 2 person reservation for 8pm and we werent sat for at least 20 minutes after. Kept telling us our table needed to be cleaned. Eventually the host went over there and cleaned it themselves. Once sat, the food was great. Ordered a 2nd round of drinks halfway through and i think the server forgot cause they didnt arrive untill i was asking for the check. Seemed like they were under staffed for a busy saturday night.
Great service and food, even during prime dinner time. I could tell staff were a little stretched but everything came out quickly. Noise level a little high due to dinner rush crowd
We go for breakfast and love this place! You can make a reservation, parking is free and dear by and the servers are always very good! They changed their coffee cups to larger cups which is very appreciated, great idea! We had Aaron this time, what a great guy, he made everything even better!
