I was pleasantly surprised how delicious my food was from an online order, the farm sandwich, chicken soup were amazing and the ranch salad also. The staff was super busy due to peak time, however very friendly and patient, the atmosphere was a bit hectic with all the orders in house, pick up and for delivery and I didn't eat in so couldn't give more stars. Oh yeah the pomegranate mint drink is awesome as well. Definitely going back to try more menu items. Keep up the good work Mendo ☺️👍🏻

Very disappointed in the salad. I ordered an $18 salad and expected something fresh and well-prepared, but this was far from it. The chicken came in large chunks that required a knife to cut — not exactly what you want in a salad. There were more lettuce hearts than actual chopped greens, the kale was completely missing, and the greens that were included were left in large, whole pieces. It was nearly impossible to take a normal bite without feeling like I had to stuff my mouth.

The bacon was burnt, and the egg yolk was aa white as the egg white and made me question if it was fresh. For the price, I expected something at least halfway decent. Unfortunately, this missed the mark completely.

Really disappointed in the quality and preparation.

I ordered Baja chicken salad because it looked good in pictures, but look how much chicken is in that salad. I didn't know that you guys have a deficit of chicken. If I order chicken salad, I expect more than 3 small pieces.

I’ve visited the Porter Ranch Mendocino Farms twice now, and while the food has been good, my experiences with the front staff have been upsetting. On my first visit with my adult son, the woman at the counter was extremely friendly and attentive to him. On my second visit, I arrived right when they opened at 10 a.m. to quickly order a turkey sandwich to go. The same woman saw me, made an unfriendly face, and immediately called over a Hispanic coworker to take my order, even though there was no language barrier and we both spoke English the whole time. The coworker was polite, but it was clear she’d been assigned to me rather than choosing to help. Given how differently I was treated compared to my son, and the way I was passed off based on how I look, the interaction felt discriminatory and has made me reluctant to return, despite the good food.

It was our first experience at Mendocino Farms, and we thoroughly enjoyed the food. The salads offer generous portions, and while the sandwiches are smaller, they are of excellent quality. The only minor point was that my wife found the quinoa in her salad to be a bit dry and crunchy.

The staff provided exceptional service. Shant, in particular, greeted us with a warm smile. Upon learning it was our first visit, he took the time to explain everything clearly and simply, which we greatly appreciated. He was both personable and professional.

I've been to Mendocino Farms before, but not this location, since this is their new spot in Porter Ranch near Northridge, California. We came here because it was a school night, where they donate a percentage of the proceeds to the school. I got the Golden State Cobb, which has applewood-smoked bacon, avocado, a hard-boiled egg, blue cheese, lolli-bomb yellow tomatoes (which I substituted with steak as my protein which it’s an option to add to the salad for a few dollars), pickled red onions, chives, balsamic glaze, romaine, kale, mixed greens, and rustic red wine vinaigrette, but I substituted it with Caesar dressing. You can't go wrong with a salad at Mendocino Farms. My wife got the Caesar salad with chicken, and my son shared a kids' meal, though I forgot exactly which one he got at this point in time. How it works here is that you order and pay at the counter, then get seated. When the food is ready, they bring it out to your table. If you have any extra requests, like additional dressing or something else, don't hesitate to ask the person bringing your food they'll be happy to help. The ambiance and décor are your typical greens and blues, and the place feels very welcoming inside. I wouldn't hesitate to come here again, as I love the food every single time. You guys here at Mendocino Farms will definitely see me again soon. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for something on the healthier side, as they use fresh ingredients and include things like chia seeds, flaxseeds, and more. Also, there is plenty of parking as you can see because it shares the shopping center with other places. Don’t want to keep you guys for much longer, so I guess I’ll see you next time.

Super slow service at the porter ranch location. Last two times I have ordered the order was over 20 minutes past the promised time. This location is chaotic, with lots of people waiting for late orders.

I love this location so much, the staff is super friendly, always helpful, and the quality of food is just unmatched. I heard a version of the blue buffalo is coming back and I can't wait to try it, it's been my favorite forever! Though the avo salsa verde is a close second. Great people, great food, such great service!
