I was in the mood for pancakes… I ended up getting chicken fried steak and egg with a pancake with fresh strawberries. It filled me up and was so good I will try to get back there but I live hours away…

Place was clean, sat us quickly and took drink order, took a long time to take our food order. Food was fast coming out, my hash browns looked like they were cooked a little on both sides and cold in middle, corn beef hash was just tough shredded dry beef and no flavor. Toast and eggs were good. Husband's food was very bland and potatoes were not cooked all the way.

$35 for a single breakfast and the waitresses definitely need adult supervision. Terrible service, very costly. I had to go find my own utensils, my waitress was busy talking to the other waitresses. Sorry, I won't be back.

Jenny Lynn’s Cafe is a historic spot in Porterville at this point. The locals now the story and keep it alive through new ownership and rejuvenation. I’m glad my mom suggested it because it is now my new go-to breakfast when I visit. I’ll be getting that breakfast burrito with a side of salsa verde again and again! Btw, you gotta try their salsa verde on anything you get. It’s delicious.
