Portions are small and pricey, French toast was quite dry. They brought the check at the same time as the food which was kind of odd and then we had to make sure it didn’t get messy. Didn’t get much time to review the menu. They kept coming back to see if we were ready every 2 minutes. Felt overwhelming.

Great wee cafe, two very attentive servers who loved talking to my daughter and I. All in all a wonderful visit. I had their version of a French dip andmy kid had a chicken tenders meal and both were very well cooked.

Always good food. Excellent service. Might be busy because a lot of locals go here.. My suggestion:: The Hamburger Steak and eggs. Order a side of gravy, it's a big patty so be hungry. The food is always done perfectly, my compliments to the cook.One of the best Cafes in Porterville.Here again this morning heading out on a long road trip. Once again the Hamburger Steak was fantastic. Gotta full belly and a long ride ahead.

Portions are small, variety is bad, they no longer have the bakery window up front, prices are high for what you get, sides aren't listed on the menu, the service is average and they can't even get anything really healthy or progressive on their menu like vegan food.

First time stopping here on our Sunday ride. Plenty of parking, great atmosphere, clean, good attentive service, reasonably priced, and great food. Private room that faces the street.

The atmosphere was horrible when first walking in. An older lady took our order and was very impatient. When ordering our meal we were snapped at and rushed. They seem to be picking on and saying hostile comments towards her. When I asked to speak to the owner to let her know about the service she shrugged it off and said we're stressed. To say the least it was a horrible experience and I will not be dinning there anymore.

First visit.. Yikes! Thw older woman is rude. We placed our order, and my husband asked for sausage and received bacon. He let the nice waitress know. She comes back with a plate and apologizes, but the chef wants the bacon back. She told him he could use his fingers to put it on the plate. Why would he want that back? I hope he doesn't serve that to another customer. It was our first and last visit. Terrible vibes.
