It was about 8:30 pm, and I was in town looking for a good Mexican restaurant. The reviews from here seemed promising. I got on the GPS, and it only took me to bowling lanes. I went around the building and no restaurant to be found. So, yeah, Idk if it's gone or hidden in plain sight.

I come to Porterville often for work and I usually starve myself until I get home. Thanks to Yelp, I was able to find this gem. Please, come and try their food. It's delicious! So so good and I can't wait to try more dishes on the menu.

If you have not tried the food here, it is absolutely delicious!! My husband tried the Birria ramen, let me tell you I personally would never order this on my own because it never really appealed to me UNTIL he had me try his and it was SO DELICIOUS!! I can't tell you how good it was. I would 100% order it for myself after trying this. Also, not every Torta is created equally especially in this town. I am a torta connoisseur and this is definitely in the top! I got an asada torta, uuuuuuuufffffffff. The asada is SOOOO GOOOOOD!! porterville needed something different and authentic and fresh tasting and this is it. The red chili is fire, even the nachos are f-Ing delicious have been here 4 times and not once was anything bad. Highly recommend! Also sorry to put pressure on the business owners but your food is so good! I had to share!!!

My girlfriend and I were passing through for a wedding and craving some carne asada fries. The food did not disappoint! Being from LA we can say it was very tasty! The fries were crisp and fresh and the meat still tasted great and was tender. It was not overpowered by the cheese and other toppings. I can say the same about the torta and tacos also. I love my Al Pastor and the torta also had decent meat and could still taste it through the rest of the ingredients. Everything just blended well. Lastly I had to try the quesabirria and carnitas tacos. Both very tender and flavorful! Tonight they ran out of the consume (the red broth/juice typically brushed on the tortilla) but the meat was still so tasty and juicy! It's a small location connected to a bowling alley but well worth the visit. Do give this place a try! We wish we were staying longer to come back that's how much we enjoyed it!

I just moved from L.A to Porterville and was stoked that there's no good Mexican food around. Well like 2 months ago we decided to go bowling w the fam ...ran Into this fam outside the bowling place they were offering tacos amd all kind of food birria, quesadillas, tortas and I thought o hell yeah here it is... we bought a few tacos w the wife and let me tell you they got the BOMB!! All the meets i tried are fire ..thw tortas are fire ...the quesabirrias fireeeeee!!! We been going every Thursdays and sometimes we go again on Saturdays...tastes homemade and the seasoning is of the hook .....I highly recommend to anyone looking for some home made Mexican food this spot is the real deal!
