I LOVE THIS PLACE!

DEFINITELY in my top 5 favorite restaurants of all time. I had lived in the valley (Tulare) for over 26 years (only 28 lol) and never knew this place existed. Only a 35mim drive from me all my life and discovered it in late 2023. Johnny is the best chef along with his brother. Wait and cooking can take a bit so only sit down for hibachi if you have the time.

Took our daughter here for her bday, and it was amazing. I couldn't ask for a better experience. The chef was very accommodating and made delicious food. The servers were very friendly too.

The food is great, the customer service is good, I love the Teppan-Yaki grill, and they have great Thai iced teas!
Update 2024: The calienťe roll is so good and fresh! One of my favorites! I also always get the spicy tuna roll! Beautiful fish tank too!

We usually sit in the regular dining area during lunch hours. It seems like we almost always have the same waitress who is awesome and very attentive. Teppanyaki food could be hit or miss. Maybe it's because every teppanyaki chef has different ways of cooking and seasoning food. Sometimes, it's not as flavorful as others. We've had some "this is not worth the money" visits, but we've had more "worth every penny" visits. The cleanliness and quality is not as it once was. It's still my favorite place to get some sushi, a good steak and the absolute BEST garlic fried rice.

Kid-friendliness: My kids love watching the teppanyaki show. The fire might be a little scary for little ones.

Food was excellent, tasty and nice presentation, I came between lunch and dinner which seemed to annoy the waitress, I felt like I was an inconvenience after every interaction.
The young man who took my plate and rang me out was friendly and polite.

Best seafood I have ever had not on the east coast. Great cook and great food.
