We stopped in our way to a camping trip at lake success. Pizza was delicious and the beer was cold. Lovely atmosphere will definitely return

Bought a $25 voucher to support a local volleyball team and decided to finally use it today. Unfortunately, this was our first time trying Poor Richards Pizza and most likely our last. I picked it up on my way home from clinical and was excited to finally try it so the my family but we were really disappointed with what we received!
I’m honestly surprised after reading so many good reviews, because our pizza didn’t live up to the hype at all (see attached photos). The quality and presentation were not what we expected, especially after making the trip.
I hope this was just an off day, but based on our experience, we won’t be returning.
The Best Pizza in town. My family and I eat here at least 3- 4 times a month. very friendly service, great atmosphere and plenty of beer options to choose from. I love that the crust is unique and not super thick and doughy. There is a reason they have won best pizza in town 4 years in a row.

Absolutely worst pizza in my life! Ordered a veggie with Alfredo sauce. It had no sauce, could not even see the cheese and the vegetables were all undercooked, still crunchy! And I had no idea they were serving a cracker for the crust. We were not given any options for the crust either. Spent $30.00 for garbage. We will NEVER go back! I would be ashamed to sell that to people! I wish I could post the picture of it on here.... Just awful!

On June 24, 2025, at 4:30 pm we came in to get some pizza and beer. The gal that was working obviously didn't want to help us. She did take our order, and poured us each a glass of beer. We had to come up to the bar and get it ourselves, even though we were sitting at a table. When we ordered we left a nice tip. When the pizza was done she called us up to pick it up. All of this, and we were the ONLY customers in the place! In addition, we ordered the same draft beers, but the one my wife got was totally different then mine. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy!
