Just had a warm fresh biscuit that was one of the best I've had in 20+ years and that was a side dish! Great omelette and near perfect country potatoes finished the breakfast. One of the best breakfast places in Porterville.

My ham, tomato, avocado and cheese omelette with hash browns. The hash browns were on point to my liking as I can never find a place that ever truly cooks as I request. The omelette was quite hearty with large chunks of delicious ham. This was obviously a to go order, but the service was just the same quantity had we dined in. I give a 5 star recommendation, and will certainly be returning.

cant believe ive lived in Porterville my whole life and never ate here till this year. we had a women's meeting in the back room and the young waitress did amazing !got the chicken wrap and was big and yummy! i told my husband who had never been there that i wanted to go again for breakfast . we went last weekend . and WOW! the French toast platter was delish! his food was great too ! his biscuit and gravy was huge ! great prices , great food ,clean bathrooms, clean dinning room friendly accommodating staff..our new favorite spot !

They give you very large biscuits but very little gravy. A large gravy is only enough for 1 biscuit. Plus our waitress never came back to check on us after she brought our food & it wasn't busy at all.

When local, this is a place we enjoy visiting! We did fly in from another state and drove 1hr just to eat here! Hubby and I shared the western omelette with the country potatoes, sourdough bread (perfectly buttered) with a side of avocado (avocado foe the bread)! Yum!! Food was perfect and delicious! Thank you RJ's for great food and friendly staff!

Absolutely horrid! We should have turned around after seeing a practically empty place at 12:20 pm on a weekday. Ordered the hot roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and a salad. Mashed potatoes were powdered and had some strange crunchy bits in it. The brown gravy was way over salted and more like the consistency of jelly. Salad was out of a bag; wilted iceberg, carrots and the purple stuff. Roast beef was tasteless. The "sandwich" part was two halves of overly greasy thick white bread on the side of the plate. Ate a few bites before I stopped out of fear of getting sick.

Loved our server but seemed expensive for what little we got. The waffle was gummy but I didn't want to send it back so I just left it on the table. Our server was a sweetheart. It makes me sad to say the only good part of our meals was the coffee and the music that was playing. I had high hopes but it wasn't what people hyped it up to be.
